I guess it's because that heck of a slapshot he got. Maybe he just needs to get in the zone for once. He's either off net or breaking sticks. Although he had a good rush on the third

11/8/2015 - Dallas Stars VS Detroit Red Wings - GDT
NerveDamage replied to Bill Berzeench's topic in General
Spezza hitting Howard was incidental, You can clearly see him lifting his knee, instead of laying weight on it to deliver a more critical hit...I would like to think. Hemsky's hit on Ericsson deserves an a** whopping and was clearly a 4 minute penalty (or double minor, I guess is the right term). I don't know what it takes for Ericsson to get physical and kick some a** -
It's really a beautiful swater. I love the "throwback" neck. Both of the Winter Classic sweaters are pretty neat. Although Montreal really hit it out of the park...(insert a better hockey reference instead)
-
I lost track of which line he's in now. But he's making a strong case of why he should be an Nhl'er, It would be sweet if he scored
-
Thanks guys, For what I 've seen from him he has a lot of potential and he's a hockey smart guy. Definitely wouldn't want him to go away, that's why Detroit excels at developing young talent. Ken Daniels just said that 20 guys on the Red Wings bench were developed within the organization. I just don't want them to do the same as they did to Filppula and Hudler, although they really shone in their new teams and probably was for the best for their careers.

I read in WIIM that Mrazek was starting but Ansar Khan reported Howard is the starter
-
He's definitely going senile. For Lord Stanley's sake just look at the jackets he wears.
-
Shhhh...Don't jinx it although I don't like this secrecy either... Ansar Khan tweeted this

Injury Update by Helene St. James. Ferraro suffered a sprained knee. Severity still to be determined
-
We've been pretty rude with Dan in the past. Alfredsson taking his number and accomplishing diddly-squat. But I think Dan said to AA in Grand Rapids: "...I'll trade you the Griffins #11 for a Red Wings spot" Apparently Mrazek
-
Although I'm pretty psyched about AA, specially after the great pre-season he had, I really don't get what the situation with Jurco is. After last season I thought he was gonna make his mark and earn his spot, but that doesn't seem to be the case. If they're not gonna play him maybe it's time of thinking of a possible trade, He deserves more ice time and maybe could be a better fit elsewhere.

The Wheel Deal (@Bill_Rose) confirms it via Twitter. I can't still figure out how to embed a tweet so sorry guys have to click the link here

Cool! so it's not just me...phew haha
-
to this moment all that has been said is that it is a day-to-day injury and is not expected to play against the Stars. Though we have some good news
-
I know, that Rivalry was red hot when I started following the Wings. It might sound silly, and I know it's only an exhibition game, but I'm really looking forward for the alumni game

GDT 11/6 GDT : Red Wings at Toronto Maple Leafs, 7:00 EST

You are right Sir, and thanks for shedding some light and be cool about it. I just found the stats and who would have thought, after the 2013-2014 season and Sochi, that T.J. Oshie would only have 36% with 4 out of 11 -

I was looking through the stats before I posted but couldn't (and still can't) find any of the SO% so I was talking out of memory (a** more likely haha) and only stated that I personally liked Tatar's moves better. Still, the Red Wings were 4-10 in shootouts, so we all knew that any game that reached SO was pretty much an L. -
I bet that was even more explosive than previously stated haha
-
Really, Quincey better than Kronwall? Although I agree that he hasn't played to the level we all expect from him. Don't know if it has anything to do with that phony game 7 suspension.

Last year most OTL came from shootouts. Man, it was painfull to watch. Nyquist struggled a lot, although I liked the Kane-like moves that Tatar displayed in the latter part of the season. -
I could only find what Ansar Khan tweeted last night
-
I meant to post it to Bill. did you rank Smith higher than Green and Quincey because they're injured?

Hey guys, do you know any routine I could do to start out at home? I'm a 10 to 8'er and my commute is 'bout 1 1/2 hours each way, so it's a bit hard to go to a gym. It's been a rough year for me, currently I'm in between surgeries so I'm not able to do much. I walk and cycle about 4 miles and stretching exercises daily have been practicing stickhandling and shooting (nights at home or at the park) and a bit of skating and on skates puck control (mostly weekends) I've always been skinny so putting on weight is pretty hard, since my last surgery I've lost about 10 pounds and realized I need to strengthen quite a bit. Any suggestions? Also Kudos to all of you whom are working out and keeping it up.
