  1. TSN just said that the Wings are not sending anyone to meet with Parise in person.
  2. I emailed vs. and asked them to please get someone to flip the HD switch.
  3. Anyone else have Direct TV and the HD feed is squeezed down to SD? I'm getting pissed watching a screwed up aspect ratio. In addition to the horrible calls the refs are making.
  4. I was at the game, Howard didn't get pulled. He got plowed into and was scored on the play, there was a huge collition in front of the net that ended up with Howard and Galvin leaving the game with injuries, it looked like Galvin hurt his left knee. I'm not sure what happend to Howard, he layed on the ice for a good 5 mins. and needed to be helped off the ice. D-Mac played a fair amount of mins. his skating looked "labored", that's best word I can think of to describe it, he did get an assist. It was great to see him play though, living in Syracuse for so long, I haven't had the chance to see him play live in years.
  5. Put Conklin in!!!! Ozzy's confidence is shot!
  6. I'll be in Sec. 309 wearing a New Zetterburg Jersey with my wife wearing an "old school" Shanny Jersey. Maybe I'll see some of you fine folks out at a bar on Chippewa street before the game. Go Wings!!
  7. It's about a 4 1/2 hour drive, although I've done it in less than 3 1/2. I don't know if I lucked out or cops just don't hangout on the 401 or 403. I think between london and Detroit there isn't a whole lot of scenery. And make sure you have good directions so as you don't get lost in Hamilton, that part is a little tricky.
  8. Me and 3 other wings fans will be making the trip from Syracuse to see the Wings (hopefully) kick the crap out of the Sabres. We'll be in Sec. 309 up in the nose bleeds, right on the blueline. Maybe I'll see ya there. I'll be wearing a Red Zetterburg jersey and wife will be wearing a white Shannahan Jersey.
  9. I have dish network and there's a sports channel package called the multi-sport pkg that you get all the regonal FSN channels among others. So right after the game I just turn the channel to 340 FSN Detroit. Here's a link:
  10. I bought this coat online and I've had it for about 2 weeks now and it's great! and only $35. 11. I'm driving to Michigan from NY on Thursday, visiting some family in Livonia and I've got tickets for Saturday's game! I plan on having lunch at the Hockeytown Cafe before and taking the shuttle so if anyone wants to say hi I'm the guy wearing a White Yzerman jersey and my girlfriend will be wearing a White Greztky Rangers Jersey. I'm very excited, this will be my first live Wings game since Stevie Y's rookie year, that's what happens when you live in the middle of NY.
