I think your statement says it all. If you can't put up numbers with Pavel air mailing you the puck, then you might be a bust. I keep hearing people talk about his size. Yet, when there are scrums by the net, he shrinks away from the fray. He gets checked off of the puck more than Nyquist and when the match ups are favorable for him to burst down the wing with speed, he dumps the puck at the blue line. I can't rule him out totally, but I'd rather use him in a trade when we have such amazing prospects waiting in the wings to get upstairs on the big club.

I want a player to want to stay on our team. It just doesn't seem like Jurco has much desire to do so. He didn't produce. Which means you get a non-producer's contract. It's simple. I would rather sign Pulkinnen and let Jurco go in a trade or test the market himself. I think he'll find that a lot of teams won't take a gamble on a young player who didn't produce in a system that cultivates their young talent. My two cents.

I think Quincey played amazing this last season. I would be totally against moving him at all. I know we need to make some cap space room now, but we just can't lose his toughness and good defensive play.
