In the last few minutes of a period or game? This is a very bad trend and it is not remedied by the trainers. We lost so many games last year in the last few minutes of the game just like we did last night against Tampa

Yes, there are some excellent non-north-American players and we were very lucky to have had a share of them however every team now have excellent scouts in Europe and Russia and no longer do we get to pick the better ones. My point is that we should try to pick the best North American players. Not only they are traveling from Caroline to Tampa, they will be playing the back end with a team that will have been resting in Tampa 3 days. Am I the only one thinking that this is unfair? The hockey gods finally gave us a break. I blame them for our poor scoring results before this exciting game. Usually the puck refuses to get in the net for us but not tonight. Of course I also blame the players for not taking control of the puck. However I don' t imaging the Coyotes goalie Smith not stopping that puck from getting in the net... Howard doesn't stay on his skates too often. He is quick to get to his knees then gets flat on the ice and that's how we often score on him. Don't get me wrong, Howie has been playing great this year but we don't win too often as he seems to let in goals at the last minutes in a one or two goal game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
