ely s reacted to _SP_ in 2022 TDL
But it's not just San Jose. It's the bar fights in Buffalo, putting his hands on women violently, the casino lawsuit (yeah, dropping him right next to the MGM is a great idea), filling for bankruptcy because he makes bad decisions... and now the vaccine card?
Look, I'm anti vaccine mandate. But you either follow the rules laid out like Bertuzzi or you get vaccinated. You don't turn in a fraudulent card.
Dude is bad news. No way do I want him on a team that is graduating so many prospects. What a terrible influence.

100% agree, he has that bomb but is not using it often enough. On that 5 on 3 he had three or four consecutive shooting opportunities put passed every time. Probably he needs the urgency of OT to score.

So let´s hope DK sits out tonight.

I know he’s a winger so the comparison is not 100 apple apples but kid has better board work, edge work. IQ, and def better hands than Rasmussen already.

Dont misunderstand. I am not anti-vax at all. I just don't like being told to "listen to science" and then treating people who have acquired immunity thru infection differently. It makes no sense. Science says vax or infection leads to immunity. That is what should be followed. A recovered CoVid 19 patient is not any more or any less likely to be reinfected or spread the illness than a vaccinated person. And they are just as protected from it as a vaccinated patient. That is what science says, but not policy. And that hypocrisy creates a distrust of the vaccine, which is harmful.

I'm 30 and not a professional athlete. I'm 157-162lbs at 5'8", so just UNDER "overweight". Best shape of my life. Lost 35lbs since January (was diagnosed with hypertriglyceridemia, and said F that).
Just had sinusplasty on 11/8. COVID on 11/11. Between the surgery recovery and the 'VID, the last four weeks have SUCKED. I still have massive congestion, loss of smell, and brain fog. Missed out on Thanksgiving.
But I don't regret not getting vaccinated. Because if we knew that it was safe long-term, Pfizer and the others wouldn't still have immunity from lawsuits.
That just makes me feel uneasy, like they aren't actually 100% sure there won't be issues 10 years from now. And how could they??? There aren't 10-year longitudinal studies yet.
How many of these athletes got it only because they were essentially coerced? "Get it or you have to do all these extra steps and can't go to Canada."
The vaccine stops you from having severe symptoms... but so does being a professional athlete, with access to the best medicine money can buy, and being in elite physical shape.
Maybe an offensive or defensive lineman in the NFL is high risk, but I seriously don't understand the outrage towards athletes who don't want to get vaccinated. These guys have less risk than anyone.
And like Bertuzzi, I also got COVID from someone who was vaccinated. Someone who was adamant they couldn't possibly be sick with covid because they're vaccinated. Must be allergies. Then we were both ill with it.
Just dumb. Let people make their choices for their health. Not just physical, but mental health too.

And what's stupid is that, if he does have it, he will still have to sit out games in Canada once he's over it, unless he still gets vaccinated. Even though he would then have acquired natural immunity.

Finally it´s fun again to be a Red Wings fan. The articles you get to read are sort of refreshing, the moaning becomes less and there´s an atmosphere of departure. There´s a lot to like about our future.

He´s 21 and on a 20 goal pace, which is ok. A first (#25+) and a third (#90+) guarantee you f#ck all. Time will tell, but I think the Canes got a good return if he signs a new cheaper contract.

no one picked him for the calder
played like 2 minutes a game in Sweden last year
no one expected him to make wings roster
left off of 55 man Olympic roster
Q has a 4OA pick ever been this disrespected
A NO!
Conclusion no one that holds a pen knows anything about hockey

Eff this.
The boring old porridge days of "come to Meijer and meet hometown heroes Luke Glendenning and Justin Abdlekader" are OVER. Copp is Abby 2.0
This team's getting back to it's sleek Eurosex roots. If I were Larkin I'd be very nervous.....Ned can stay.
If, like you say, there will still be lots of room for Seider, Larkin, Raymond raises when the time comes then there will be enough money to sign a big UFA or 2 then as well.
Look an Vancouver. They get a sniff with Hughes and Petterson and then blow their wad on bad contracts.
Being patient as a GM means being really patient. Hang on to your money for now Stevie.

This. It seems expectations for Zadina were what Raymond is currently doing. Raymond is the exception, not the norm. Sure, there are a couple dmen taken after him that would have been great to have. But there are also a couple of players taken before him that Zadina has outproduced in every aspect of the game. And we got even better dmen after the fact anyway, so all is well.

We most likely already have our top 4 dmen. They are all much younger than Lindholm. And much cheaper. This would be a terrible signing for SY as he would be overpaying for a position he doesnt need to fill.

ely s got a reaction from 13dangledangle in 11/21 "Yote Hunting" GDT @ Arizona
We came up 2 inches short. Turn the two posts in goals and it´s an easy win. We played good for 52minutes, then started to lose structure a bit and because of a lack of effort to skate these two feet and avoid an icing, we gave them the momentum to win the game. Totally unnecessary loss.
Leddy is still our best LHD and you won´t see the swedes in Detroit before TC next year. I´m more concerned about DK and his lack of strength and his pussiness. He looks like he´s trying to avoid to hurt his opponents, a little soft shove here, a gentle push there. The only thing that´s missing is that he´s apologizing for doing so.
