Hell yah. Raymond got after it this summer. Saw one pic of him with Seider, and boom. If Yzerman ever pulls his head out and gets a good strength coach, this team could be beastly. Adding 10 lbs of muscle per player in 2 offseasons is basically like giving the team another roster spot. It's not just 23 guys that are harder to play against. It's 23 guys that dont get injured as often, and it's 23 guys that injure the opponent more often. Why is there only the goalie in the weight room training by himself? Because this team has a s***ty strength coach and Yzerman hasnt recognized it yet.

Chiarot by a mile. Way too high of a salary for his poor performance. I have a feeling Petry will impress so long as they don't try to do too much with him or pair him with Chiarot. If they go: Walgod-Seider Ghostbear/Edvinsson-Petry Chiarot-Holl things will be OK. Chiarot needs very favorable minutes - 75% offensive zone draws and off the ice the very first time the puck gets out of our end after it comes that way the first time. If they give Chiarot more than 12 minutes a night, going to be another long season. Yzerman has his first Justin Abdelkader on his hands right now. Sucks. Can't wait til he's gone.

You are missing the mark HUGE on Edvinsson. He's a man child. But he's NOT a left handed Seider. He's a left handed Uwe Krupp but with a lot better skating. If you're expecting him to play like Seider, youre going to be disappointed. Edvinsson will tilt the ice our way with his reach and transition speed. Not his hitting and board work. If he does pick up the ability to play physical hockey, he will be BETTER than Seider. But that's not what he is showing right now. 2LHD Anchor is what we need out of Edvinsson.

And no credible sources have said that they were told that information. So it's just a rumor.
