I wonder if the pitch was a top 9 spot in Detroit. Maybe Hollands plan is to sign Foo and trade one of Nyquist/Tatar for a second 1st to draft McCollum #2.
-
Regardless of age Necas would be a great pick at 9. Dr. Dangles did a great write up on him a few weeks back that sold me. If Necas, Petterson, and Suzuki are all still available at 9 I would consider trading back a few spots to get a 2018 2nd.

2017 Stanley Cup Finals: Nashville Predators vs. Pittsburgh Penguins

I would really like the preds chances if Johansson was available. -
You know how hope turns into faith and belief for some people. On a serious note the only way Holland trades up would be for a center or dman, and I really don't expect that to happen.

2017 WCF ANAHEIM DUCKS VS NASHVILLE PREDATORS

Sissons just owned Fowler. He has not been very good at all. On the other hand Jarnkrok has been a good 3rd center for the preds. -
Hronek looks like he may be a good one.
-
I don't think he is going to get past Vancouver so it doesn't matter. According to Vancouvers version of wiim he has been heavily scouted by their organization.
-
One of Glass, Suzuki, Valimaki, Tippett will most likely be available so it will be ok guys. If there was one draft to be a little unlucky it was this one. If we get a lottery pick next year we will all be thankful it happened the way it did. After reading Dr. Dangles if Suzuki was 2" taller he would be a lottery pick. Plus he doesn't play small or avoid physical play.
-
My wishlist for who has a realistic chance of still being available (I don't think Glass will be there); 1) Suzuki 2) Liljegren 3) Tippett
-
I like the idea, but I just don't know how much more it would cost.
-
I would swap firsts and get a first for next year or second.
-
At least Colorado and Vancouver didn't get a top 3
-
I predict #8, and we take Liljegren or Tolvanen. The Leftwinger gets banned due to his reaction...

http://www.wingingitinmotown.com/2017/4/11/15259068/dr-dangles-prospect-profiles-michael-rasmussen-c-tri-city-americans-15 Here's the article. It seems like the more mainstream scouting services disagree with him, but it doesn't mean he is wrong. I really don't care who the wings draft I just hope he can be a pivotal part of the future.

I'm starting to like the idea of Rasmussen more and more. Big center who uses his size well, goes to the net, and has good hands.
-
He has great skill, but he is only 5'10".
-
We are not going to be contenders for at least a few years. If the price isn't reasonable wait until he hits UFA then try and sign him.
-
I think AA is banged up a bit so they are protecting his minutes.
-
No, though there are others on my list higher than him. I would be thrilled if we pick Rasmussen at 5 or later.

Well Mantha needs to learn how to throw punches -
Wouldn't that be nearly the same quality of player? Plus that would be worst case scenario, so the risk level of say trading with Phoenix is very low. If the right opportunity presented itself for a 2018 first, and 2017 2nd I would do it.
-
If we are picking in the 5-10 range he would be a good pickup at a position of need.
