If you look at the top 10 scorers in the league right now 6 are listed as wingers and 4 are centers. And one of those is Draisaitl who is actually playing on McDavid's wing. My point? I dunno.

Meeee too For some reason I want to stay away from Peretti and Holtz. I'd basically be thrilled with anyone else but a center would be my preference too. I think this team gets real special if Larkin is the #2C.

I'm not a millennial so I can only speculate but I think the "OK Bommer" thing is some sort of counter-attack against boomers who have this (above bolded) attitude towards them. Well from a business standpoint it might make more sense to play the kids that, you know, people will pay money to come see. Not saying Zadina's hot ticket stuff just yet, but if I were on the fence, I'd rather go see him play than Erne for example. Seems counter intuitive to manage his icetime in NHL based on saving a few grand. Which brings me to my next point: there's no way he was waived to save a few grand.
