I feel as though chicago will never be as strong as the year they won the cup, but i do think they are still dangerous and could win a cup. I wouldnt say they are the favorite, and i dont think they will beat us out for the division, but they are still a threat.

Im not sure on brunnstrom. I think he has the tools, but his head isnt all the way there. Its like hes more intent on showing off or something. We will see.

This will be interesting. It is as though semin is testing shanahan, perhaps using his touchy trigger finger against him. A disgraceful act no doubt, but i think it will help moderate the amount of suspensions we have seen.

I think it just has to do with whoever you consider to be the second best defenseman on the team, which is definitely kronwall at this point if not last year as well, though that is debatable.

My first thought was that this guys was fabian brunnstrom, as a it is apparent english isnt his native language. Anyway, it would be cool if it happened but not likely.

I dont understand their logic on why these games are premium. Some of the teams there are good, but a lot suck. I could understand original 6 teams or serious contenders being on there, but ottawa, st. Louis, calgary, and carolina all missed the playoffs last year.

Its like i came to this thread hoping to see the future, but i should know better because we will just have to wait and see.... anyway, with ericsson i feel as though the tools are there and he has a good chance of developing into a top 4 defenseman, but the only reason he had enough leverage to demand that kind of salary is because of the departure of rafalski. Potential was not a good enough reason to make him the 2nd highest paid defenseman on our team so i would say its a mediocre contract that we almost had to give him.

Yeah i do too. It was a strange coincidence that datsyuk and zetterberg came in right when yzerman, fedorov, and shanahan were all on their ways out. Hopefully it happens again.

I dont think we need a guy like johnson that much simply because we dont play in our own zone the majority of the game. I would rather keep our young players in the bottom six so we can forecheck tenaciously and keep the puck deep in their zone.

Here's a problem with being fat that affects everyone: It is gluttonous. Fat people don't need all that food. There are billions of people on this planet starving, and being fat and eating more than you need not only steals a meal off a starving child's plate in Africa or India, but indirectly raises food prices domestically. Im glad im not the only one who thought the st. Louis Colorado trade was a bad deal. Colorado drafts extremely well but consistently makes the worst trades they can.

Yeah, kinda reminds me of the filpula deal we made a few years ago, but I think JVR has higher potential so it should work out pretty well for philly in a few years.
