My guess would be Edvinsson/Kasper in D Wallinder/Mazur in GR.

Veleno is a good skater wins puck battles and adds toughness/physicality. Provides nothing offensively but good bottom 6 shutdown c. Zadina has skill plays hard but is soft as butter.

No. It's about not wearing a jersey that supports a cause you don't agree with. If they wear the other theme jerseys, maybe its because they agree with those causes. That is not hypocrisy. That is choice.

And if a player refused to wear a military jersey or one honoring Cops, the league would not do anything, and the wokies would hypocritically applaud their"courage".
Also, the alphabet community is not oppressed. They have the same civil rights and government protections as any other group.

Or we could of kept him for the rest of this season actually played him and up his value before trading him this summer. Worst case he doesnt up his value at all and you still get the same return from Stl or some other team this summer. Horrible mismanagement on the person/player/asset imo.

Ya I dont want a pure rental either only player with term or agreed on extension in place.

I hate to be the realist in the room, but this team could lose 5 straight as easily as they won 5 straight. 
The need 8 of 12 points in this stretch to even consider not selling off assets.

I'm not mad about SY re-signing Maatta. He's been good. I just don't understand why you wouldn't wait till after the deadline. See if there's a market for the guy and then re-sign if nothing materializes.

I really hope we clear out some guys at the TDL.  Flip guys like Erne, Sunny, Suter, etc for whatever you can get... retain salary, etc and bring up some guys like Elmer and Vrana (iffy I know).
I view this TDL as the year where we purge older vets, and give good stretch run time to some kids... if they go on a run great, if not they get experience and a head start on next season.

Of the likely destinations for Bert Id want one of these players in some sort of package

EDM-Broberg
TOR-Knies

They don't grow on trees, but we already have 3 (Seider, Hronek, Edvinsson), and potentially another in Wallinder or Johansson. Why give up valuable assets for a player we most likely won't need?
