Not entirely, because I do agree, Trevor Daley is better than Bowey for teaching Puppy Chow, but if I am really wanting the yoots to learn from a top tier Vet and not a washed up Vet, I need to acquire one. discliamer: This idea is in no way bashing Steve Yzerman, like I used to bash Holland a couple of years ago...ok a year ago June.

let us remember that Nick Lidstrom was real gud before his rookie season, but playing with The Beast Brad McCrimmon (RIP) is what developed him into the perfect human he was. that being said, Trevor Daley is not Brad McCrimmon. So Yzerman needs to get on the phone and acquire Ryan Suter to be that "vet" to teach Puppy Chow and then one day, Seider to be complete D-men. Get it done Steve, get it done.

I'd be fine with keeping Ho Sang for the minimum games. Ehn has waiver eiligibilty. DLR, Smith and HS can be the 12th/13th/14th guys.

Honestly, there are only a few things that I would like the see different right now: replace one of Ehn/DeLaRose with Smith I'd love for Yzerman to claim Ho-Sang off the waiver wire Replace Daley with Kaski Replace Bernier with Pickard I'm not too upset with the kids going to GR. Veleno, Svech, Zadina and Ras will get much better with the time down there. (hopefully) I'm ok with Abby, Nielsen, Helm etc...still being here,we aren't in cap hell, so ATM their caps aren't hurting us. I'd sure like to see some deals this TDL though! I'd like to add to this list. I just read that Nashville waived Steve Santini yesterday as well! I'd love for him to be in our organization too! Ho-Sand and Santini off waivers please! They can got to GR for all I care, but to just have them in our organization would be great! We're gonna need the extra D-man next season when E, Daley and Green are all GONE! If Yzerman to make these pick-ups, then we would know he means business and is in it!

I am way off on market value, I just don't think a player who only has topped 50 points once deserves $7M per year. But again, I am off the market. IF BOTH AA and Mantha topped 70 points, I see no reason why they won't ask for and expect $7M AAV. I'm hoping more for around $5M to $5.5M for each of them.

Oh, ok! I was just going by the (thought to be) NHL on the shoulder, but now that I look closer it's a WHL, just like the one on Ras's...I'm silly.

All this talk on how Melnyk sucks, but it took Trouba how many RFA negotiations and a trade to NYR to get to this point. Now, with Byfuglien's future in the air, I bet Winnipeg is wishing they gave Trouba the $8M. Add that to the fact that even though they have a ton of Cap, they still haven't locked down Connor or Laine, maybe something is rotten in the Peg?
