  1. It's not a restriction on overseas players. It's the age the player enters the Entry Level system. 18-21 3 years 22-23 2 years 24+ 1 year
  2. They get two games per series exclusive. Game 1 is exclusive. 5 of the other 6 will be on FSD.
  3. 10:00pm EDT.
  4. He's not a free agent. He's under contract and the Wings have said they want him back. He played well in the KHL this year, it's not like he took a year off from hockey.
  5. He won't be suspended. There was no intent to injure on the play. He's not a repeat offender. There was no injury to the head (which is why it wasn't a game misconduct).
  6. I put the clip up on YouTube. name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> &"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> &" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" />
  7. Doc lives in St. Clair.
  8. What was that game earlier this week where the exact same thing happened. The referees conferred and overturned the initial call on the ice even though there was not a conclusive replay.
  9. The referee clearly states that it was called a goal after conferring with the other referees and not because of the review. The ruling on the ice was a goal and there was certainly nothing on the video that could disprove that.
  10. May was not credited with a shot and Auld was not credited with a save on this play. The play officially ended with Abdelkader's shot at 13:56 that was frozen by Auld. Was that the call? That LaRue lost sight of the puck on Abdelkader's shot and that May's shot didn't even happen? http://www.nhl.com/scores/htmlreports/20092010/PL020295.HTM
  11. True, but I don't believe you can send an injured player to the minors. Plus, Helm is traveling to Sweden with the team. Unless they have an exception like they do with Larsson, players assigned to the minors actually have to report to their minor league team.
  12. Even so, Helm and Emmerton are on short term IR and thus the Long Term Injury Exemption cannot be used on them.
  13. How is this roster cap-compliant? AUTO-GENERATED CAPGEEK.COM LINES FORWARDS Pavel Datsyuk ($6.700m) / Henrik Zetterberg ($6.083m) / Johan Franzen ($3.955m) Valtteri Filppula ($3.000m) / Daniel Cleary ($2.800m) / Tomas Holmstrom ($2.250m) Kris Draper ($1.583m) / Jason Williams ($1.500m) / Todd Bertuzzi ($1.500m) Kirk Maltby ($0.883m) / Justin Abdelkader ($0.850m) / Ville Leino ($0.800m) Patrick Eaves ($0.500m) DEFENSEMEN Nicklas Lidstrom ($7.450m) / Brian Rafalski ($6.000m) Brad Stuart ($3.750m) / Niklas Kronwall ($3.000m) Jonathan Ericsson ($0.900m) / Brett Lebda ($0.650m) Derek Meech ($0.483m) GOALTENDERS Chris Osgood ($1.417m) / Daniel Larsson ($0.850m) / Jimmy Howard ($0.717m) CAPGEEK.COM TOTALS ROSTER: 23; PAYROLL: $57.621m; CAP ROOM: $-0.546m BONUSES: $0.275m They are over even without Helm and Emmerton who are only on short-term IR. BTW, Khan says the Wings have a 22 man roster, while MacLeod says 23 with Larsson as the 3rd goaltender.
