"The Shooting Machine" - Eddie on Sammy lololol

I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT
-
Huuuuge kill. Huuuuge PP.
-
Bahhh.
-
Seriously. How is he the only one flagged on that?
-
Great player. Won't happen, but he would be a god-like force on the Wings.
-
And proceeded to mount him.
-
HAHAHA I love you, Homer. Grier suckerpunched Dats.
-
Watch closely -- Dats faked him. Awesome.
-
Lots of calls. Has it been this way all game?
-
Fack.
-
I just woke up. Is Schneider hurt?

http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/playoffs2007...&id=2860523 Although he's often razzed by his teammates for his tortured English, the Swedish-born Holmstrom remains possessed of a quick wit. Asked how his eye was healing, he looked around at a group of reporters and said: "Where are you?"

"Holmstrom: Plagued by Invisible Reporters, Lack of Mad Harmonica Skills."

IMO, the Sharks are going to make good on their promise of not sitting back. As a result, this game will be more wide-open and high-scoring than the previous four. Wings 5 (Datsyuk, Holmstrom, Franzen, Schneider, Zetterberg) Sharks 3 (Thornton, Thornton, Thornton disguised as Marleau)

Think of it as preparation for watching OT.

I appreciate the joke, but... 1) It doesn't apply well here (see my response in that other thread). 2) I don't try to be this forum's moral compass, and am therefore allowed to make hyperbolic exclamations like "Oh for the love of God" to underscore how thoroughly the Gods of Bodily Harm are taking it to this team this season.
-
I was considering "Holmstrom: Stevie Wonder," but ultimately decided it lacked the desired impact. Besides, Homer can't even play the harmonica.
-
I was thinking more along the lines of shredded rubber duckies...but that works too.
-
Should the Rangers go on to lose this series, it will haunt them forever. There's absolutely no reason why they can't win it, they're just making a couple really costly mistakes a game.
-
I wouldn't mind seeing Bert demolishing everything that moves and turning in a hat trick, both silencing his critics and showing the Wings' teeth in one fell swoop.
-
I firmly believe this Wings-Sharks series is essentially the WCF matchup; either team can and will beat the Ducks.
-
How I phrased my "comeback" (in response to what?) is irrelevant; I'm pointing out the hilarity of 1) equating reservations and pessimism about an athletic team with ultimate cowardice, and 2) speaking of "true fans," which is always a nauseatingly pretentious concept that generally serves to undermine a would-be purveyor of justice's credibility (as it does in this case). And, of course, the fact that you need to get laid. Moving on....
