I always pick McDonagh in Fantasy Hockey. He's always a steady option (around 35-40 assists, 40 PIMS, 15 PP points, +19), but he's been slipping the past two seasons. I had some hope that maybe Smith would get the pairing with him and it he would push McDonagh with his youth. The downside is Brendan likes to jump into the play, which McDonagh does as well, but you can't have both guys on your D-pair jump in on offense. So I'm not exactly sure where Brendan ends up in their pairings.

Woo hoo! My boy Nelly (insert obligatory rapper image) will be awesome at his job. He has already spent years in Grand Rapids, although it was with Ottawa's farm team. He's the first ever pick of the Griffins, so he's come full circle. So happy to hear this. Great guy, smart hockey player, Way to go Todd!

Way to go!! Gus with the win at 55.98% (71,727 votes) to 44.02% (56,400 votes). Now we have Zetterberg in the Pool C Finals and Gus in Pool D Finals!

I have a dozen tabs running this. Decent script. As a programmer of 20+ years, I love this kind of stuff. So far a 6% (-3 / +3) swing in Gus' direction in just about 30 mins. We're making progress now!
