I missed it because it wasn't there. Andy Murray had a horrible team in LA. When his team was half decent in 03 I think it was they lost more man-games to injury than any other team by a long way and still only just missed the playoffs. And FYI Murray went 19-9-5 with them last year. WAY above .500. Not bad considering before him they went 15-26-8.

I've been wanting Murray for years. He's got grit, size and ability to score.

Back on topic, I think the Blues will greatly improve and I think they should make the playoffs. In the latter half of last season they were a top 8 team in the West without a doubt. Andy Murray made a big difference.

So Giguere was the reason Holmstrom threw the puck totally across the crease while Giggy was floating around with no idea where the puck was in the 2nd period? Giguere was the reason Zetterberg couldn't hit that open net when the Wings had exposed him and his blimp-like lateral movement. Giguere was the reason Lidstrom's shot in the 3rd hit the inside of the post but didn't go in. Don't you realise that he's been beaten so many more times than the puck has been in the net?? Have you even been watching these games? If he had done a Frankie Peitrangelo in OT or something than I'd take my hat off and Giguere beat the Wings. But he didn't. News flash - all year the Detroit Red Wings have been making goalies look far better than they are. All year! Toskala, Roloson, Boucher, Legace, Garon, Aebischer, Leighton, Thomas (I could keep going) all thouroughly enjoyed playing us this year.

You seem to think that a goalie alone is what makes a team good. This shows very little hockey knowledge. 1st you came up against Nicklas Backstrom. He is a rookie. End of story. 2nd Roberto Luongo and the Nucks. I cannot remember ever seeing a more inconsistent offense in the playoffs ever. They only just got by Stars, who I am convinced were by far the worst team to qualify for the playoffs. Luongo is a great goalie. He isn't the best in the world (another bonehead comment) but he's good. The best in the world stands between the pipes in Jersey. Believe it or not, a good team is more important than a good goalie. Just ask Brodeur, Luongo and Ottawa. Although, a good goalie with a s***load of luck will get you a long way.

I honestly believe this and my mate who is a Duck fan couldn't argue - the Ducks have not deserved to win any one of the three games they did win. His only argument was "You were lucky to win game 1". The Ducks have beaten Vancouver and Minnesota. So I'm just trying to work out why you think Anaheim is so worthy of all this credit? They have achieved nothing!!
