Question for anyone. I am stationed in Italy and can't get the NHLN or DirecTV Center Ice. I am thinking about buying GameCenter Live but looking for opinions on it before I do. Thanks.In Italy, it might actually be worth it for you, as you'll actually get the NHL Network and NBC Sports feeds (since they're not locally available to you), meaning you actually get all the games and not 75% of them. Discovered that late last season using a proxy add-on for Chrome.

Center Ice would especially be a ripoff as a Wings fan this season. Out of 48 games, 13 are nationally televised (meaning either NBC, NBCS or NHL Network), which means Center Ice won't carry them. Not worth it.

Don't have cable anymore and don't miss NHL Network. Seriously lacking in actual programming content. And they did have a propensity to air a lot of Pittsburgh repeats.

Im glad, but at the same time pissed off. Half the season gone, no Winter Classic, no AllStar-weekend.. The fans should get free passes to NHL Center Ice

Well, Bettman "promised" that it would be Wings/Leafs next season.
He also "promised" us a move to the Eastern Conference, so take that for what it's worth. Probably will just end up another Pittsburgh Classic next New Years.

Meanwhile, the TSN panel (especially Pierre) pulls no punches bashing Alex Semin. Milbury got crucified by the league for bashing Crysob in the playoffs, so shouldn't this TSN panel be forced to apologize to Semin?

I'm fairly confident Holland would offer the same for Parise's services. It'll boil down to where he wants to play or in other words, Datsyuk vs. Crosby?
If Pittsburgh is offering only $7.5M/season for Parise? That's insulting. Parise can get lots more elsewhere. And contrary to popular belief, not everyone is dying to play with Crysob.
