There's discussion on CBC right now that Vancouver might ask Detroit for permission to engage Jim Nill in discussions for the open position at General Manager for the Canucks. Also it was mentioned that Stevie is going to want to be a general manager soon, and that he should go to Ottawa. Thoughts?

Reflecting on his NHL career, I know he'll always be remembered as a Wing. I was extremely bitter after he left, and I was also at his first game back in Detroit on December 3, 2003 where he was booed mercilessly every time he touched the puck. Does he deserve to have his #91 retired by Detroit? Ultimately, I'd have to vote yes.

I instantly thought of Fleury before Game 1 of the '08 Finals, and still love the guys on the ice absolutely losing it. -
A YouTube clip of the Joe's horn would be better than whatever they recorded this with. It reminds me of the story Paul McCartney tells of the Beatles Shea Stadium concert in 1965 before the advanced speaker systems of today - their music was piped through the PA system.
