Where is the loyalty to the players that pushed the team into the playoffs? I can honestly say this is the most angry/shocked/depressed I've ever been based on a sport. -

I find it quite disgusting as a Red Wings fan that, the GM of my team. told an entire fanbase, f*** trying to win a Stanley cup and putting the best team on the ice, loyalty to a broke down fringe player is more important? The entire premise of this mans job is to try and put the best roster together in order to win a cup. He told everyone today, that is not his priority? How the f***? -

I think Kane is better than Toews -
GR at the beginning of the regular season. But I think he should be final cut in preseason, give him as much time with NHL's as possible.

It's funny Kenny won't let Quincey go because he gave up a 1st rounder for him, yet he will not re-sign Legwand who he basically offered up a similar package for.... -

Anyone else find it funny that the Quincey signing has yet to be posted on FB or twitter? Ken Holland = Joe D Babcock is probably pissed that Q took so much money, because it then will cut into Clearys 5 year $9 million dollar offer Babcock is fighting to get his little pet. -

IF edit: Another IF would be: IF Ken Holland didn't sign Dan Cleary last year, we could have either had Tatar playing or Nyquist up. Which over the 1st quarter stretch probably would have given us another 2 or 3 wins, which would have gotten us the Pens instead of the Bruins. A lot of If seem to be surrounding his decision making. There are trades out, our GM is just to big of a useless **** to actually make a good one. -

Holland would trade them for a 2nd and 3rd respectively. Maybe call Dave D. with the Tigers before making any trading decision. -

I think he started to turn it around later in the season. But he will not help the team reach another level and that is what we are supposed to be striving for. We couldn't get it even close to done last year with the team we had, so why the hell are we going the same old played out strategy. If they continue down this path of apathy I hope the fans show their distress by hitting the pockets of this ******* disappointing team.. -

The Avs have done a terrible job this off season. Stuart was done a year before we let him go. Parenteau at this point is better than Briere, and Iggy won't last 3 seasons. Porter showed a few glimpses with them a few years ago, but I don't think he ever really stuck with their line up. -

From the way fans were talking him up on HFboards, makes me pretty psyched for this pick. Fans whose teams were picking around 8-10 seemed to really like him.
