I know this is at least the 2nd year where people have been clamoring for more Mule as a center. Last year when he was center he was just as a effective, of course if it works Babcock says f*** ti.

The only sense Cleary is earning his money is by actually being actively playing. Tatar/Tootoo have both looked better than him in there limited time playing. I do understand you are saying that Babcock believes he ok at the end of games and on the PP. But I 100% believe Babcock is wrong. He should not be trusted at all, in any form of NHL hockey.

None of that is true. Cleary has continually been the worst skater on his line. Brings absolutely nothing on the power play and should be nowhere near the ice at the end of a game. The fact we are losing Tootoo for Cleary is pathetic, and Holland is an ******* for putting us in this situation.

I don't believe in banning fighting, nor do I have a ton of sympathy for people with injuries sustained from years of being a pro athlete. Most of these sports have been around for almost 100 years, if you do not realize the dangers before receiving a pay check you're already brain damaged. When a solider has long term knee problems from years of running, or a fire fighter is burned while putting out a fire, nobody is shocked. These guys are paid an insane amount of money to play a sport. I'm not going to cry for them because they are putting there bodies out there as a result.

IDK why Weiss would be nervous, does he not see Franzen looking for chances to lay down on the ice for a break or Cleary just handing the puck to the opponents? It's not like he could possibly do worse.

even more relevant if he you know added context. Cleary 2 goals were literally bounced off of his body by Datsyuk, and 1 was an empty netter, then what 6 secondary assists..... Unless of course points tell the whole story I guess St. James is saying Cleary>Datsyuk, because you know points mean everything. Mule is garbage, he could be dominate anytime but he is more then happy to just give up on the play and lay on the ice for 10 minutes. Bertuzzi/Sammy/Cleary line, is this some sort of joke? Bert actually seems halfway decent, Sammy is eh, and Cleary is counted on for losing the puck every time he enters the zone. Tatar was one of our better players last night, so it makes sense to barely play him. Our team as a whole really looked like they didn't give a f***. Our 1st line pp looks so deadly but they can't seem to get a damn goal.

It's pretty obvious Holland and Babcock know we need fighters. Just look at the last few drafts, the players are bigger, tougher, and most of them have at least a small fight card. Also look at Babcock gushing over McKee. Tootoo is exactly what Detroit needs.

You know I would normally say that's a bit harsh but I am dead serious. Any GM that feels Cleary is a productive member of a SC team obviously has lost it and should no longer have control, and any coach who would play such a useless player on the top 2 lines or even dress him should no longer be leading a team. What's next Cleary to play on the Olympic team too?

I'm going to go ahead and say fire Holland and Babcock. They obviously aren't serious about winning a Stanley Cup.

Not really sure why someone could hate them. They are kind of floppers but aren't over the top nor are dirty. I think it's cool they want to play together.
