The NHL store sucks. I bought a Datsyuk jersey a few years ago and when I got it, it read "DATYSUK". I was pissed and send it back, another 6 weeks later, I got the right one in the mail.

anybody ever notice that Nashville and Chicago's ice seems a bit darker than Detroit's? It's like they have brighter lights in Detroit. There seems to be more shadows in Nashville and Chicago.

personally I'd like to see us play Minnesota. Short travel for one round would be nice for a change. We're eventually going to have to travel to the west coast, assuming we go a few rounds or more, so the shortest travel the better.

You know whats really funny here, in 2002 the Red Wings were one of the best teams EVER put together, and there were several times that they had difficulty getting wins. Unfortunately this current team looks very little like that team. Some folks on this board seem to think if you throw the "right" people on a team, the Cup will inevitably follow. Sorry it doesn't work that way, not even close. Thats the problem with some Red Wings fans, if they don't win the cup, the season was a failure. Get a grip.

does everyone seem to forget that the more shots Hasek gets, the better he is? He has been this way since Buffalo, he hasn't changed. He's only seeing 18-20 shots per night.

I noticed in game 3 that lots of guys were losing an edge and stops seemed like they were difficult for a lot of guys. I know very little about maintaining ice, but in a professional arena, with all the money and resources to be had, is it really that difficult to produce a decent slab of ice? A while back there was an article asking NHL players what the best and worst ice was. Anaheim got worst hands down. Don't tell me it's the weather either because Dallas, Tampa Bay, and Phoenix do just fine. Do you guys remember this article??

I agree that he stepped up a bit tonight, his skating didn't look a whole lot different, but his passing was very much improved. His lack of playing this year and him getting used to playing with the guys takes a great deal of time, you don't just click right away. I hope we see more improvement every game.

I hate to disagree but you know damn well half of the Joe would cheer if Pronger got hit like that. You're crazy if you don't.

very classy lady!!! kudos to you and your knowledge of hockey. I personally think Pronger should get the suspension (2-3 games), but I don't think it'll happen. I'll be very surprised if it does. The NHL tends to forgive big names in big games. If it were a 3rd or 4th line guy, they'd probably go ahead with it. However they are much too concerned with having the best possible product on the ice for the games, and you can't suspend one of the Norris finalists during the conference finals. Even if it is unfair. I really don't wanna hear any BS about my post because it is my opinion and I'm entitled to it. So leave your accusations of a conspiracy at the door. Thank you.
