Its not so much about MacDonald's performance as his existence. I do not like him being our back up, or that he is in today instead of yesterday. But yes, the team is partaking in its 3rd straight...oh man I forgot we were supposed to play today...performances...

I disagree on Joey Mac...The guy couldn't even be the backup on the Maple Leafs. But yes I think 99.9% of the goalies in the NHL would give up a goal on a Shea Weber shot that close in. I just am still surprised that Howie got the Columbus start and Joey Mac got the one that is a "we should really beat these guys they are getting too close in the standings" game

Yes there have been a lot of goals that were the D's fault, that one IMO was not. And I think the bigger concern here is that in the beginning of the season Howard was able to keep us in games and steal a few where the D played poorly. It seems that as of late unless the people in front of him are flawless there is no hope that he gives up less than 3 goals.

I don't think Montreal is that foolish. Howard is 3 or 4 years older than Price, and not as good...
