Now as long as we don't let in the patented Red Wings Defense and Howard loves them late goal let down I will be thinking we are turning this puppy around.

Draper is having his best season in 5 years and looks so excited to be out there.
I don't see him up in Detroit for a full year next year, but would love him back on a 2-way as 1st recall for injuries.

Salei and Kindl are barely touching the ice this period. 2 shifts Kindl 3 Salei half way through.
Is it a coincidence we are playing better? I think not.

Yup. Its the same concept as the Ducks. When a chippy dirty team doesn't receive the retaliation they expect/desire they try to draw even more by getting dirtier, which allows the more talented team to take over.

Honestly I thought Salei was much worse than Kindl.
Well maybe not...Salei was just beat every time he tried to cover a guy where as Kindl didn't know who he was covering.
So in retrospect...I agree with your post.
Salei and Kindl leads the Wings defense in ice time.....that needs to change....

Please name one, and make it a rookie as well. Won't find many rookie 3rd line defensemen with less turnovers.

It seems like Salei and Kindl haven't left the ice since the first puck drop.
It only seems that way because every time they are out there they make an error that results in a scoring chance. So you notice every time they are on the ice.

They look sloppy out there.
Salei and Kindl are not on the right men at the right time at all.
Stuart couldn't come back soon enough. Then Kindl goes to the bench. Then when that doesn't solve everything we can then acquire a D-man at the deadline like Dreger suggested and Salei can leave the line-up too.

He doesn't have to go through waivers because he's in a similar situation to Forsberg, to the best of my knowledge; he wasn't signed with any team, either in North America or overseas.
The reason that Nabokov had to go through waivers was because he was signed in the KHL at the start of this season.
Okay. So the Professional Try Out Contract with the Conneticut Whale doesn't count as playing in another league.
I buy that.
I just figured since he played for them it would count as playing somewhere this year.

Snow's been the GM since the summer of 06. This is his 5th season as the GM of the Islanders. How many seasons would it take for him to earn himself a share of the responsiblity for the retard rodeo on long island?
The problem is that Garth Snow isn't really allowed to GM.
A majority of being the GM in Long Island just means being Wang's pawn.
There have been some very solid moves Snow has made, but then some doozies which typically smell of Wang's touch.
