I've been going to Wings vs Bruins games in Boston for 15 years and still haven't found a bar/location where fans meet up before the game. Does anyone know of a place?

Does anyone know if there is a bar in the Boston area that Wings' fans go to watch games??

So I am a Wings fan living in Mass and I go to most of the Wings vs Bruins games in Boston. I am very excited that they will be coming to Boston twice this year. With that said, is there a bar in Boston that Wings fans tend to hang out before or after the game?

Clearly might be more frustrating to watch than at any moment Hudler was on the team. Yikes.

I feel bad for Datsyuk. He is getting very little support from either of his linemates.

Hudler made 3 terrible decisions on that PP. I know others are not playing well but Hudler by himself cost the Wings at least 30 seconds of PP time.

Since I wasn't able to DVR tonight's game, is there anyway to see Datsyuk's and Filppula's shootout goal since they are not in the NHL.com highlights?

When our lines start to shape up over the next few months (assuming Franzen returns in March), they could look something like this: Zberg - Dats - Holmer Franz - Filp - Cleary Bert - Helm - Eaves Abs - Drapes - Miller I think our 3rd and 4th lines could be the difference maker against a team like Chicago or San Jose. Thoughts?

A lot of you have Dats, Z, Filp, and Helm as your 4 centers but I think Helm is way more valuable on that 3rd line. Filp is more than capable of handling the 2nd line. Maybe something like this: Zberg - Dats - Holmer Franzen - Filp - Bert Cleary - Helm - Eaves Leino/Miller - Drapes - Williams Before I had Abs on the 4th line but if everyone is healthy, he will most likely be sent down unfortunately...

I never thought this day would come. Tomas Kopecky has scored two goals in the first period of the Blackhawks vs Blues game tonight giving him his first career multi-goal game! Way to go!

The funny thing is (later on in the first period) Kopecky served Cam Barker's fighting and instigator penalties since Barker also received a game misconduct. Even when Kopecky scores 2 goals, the coach doesn't want him on the ice.

Everyone who is complaining about the Bruins getting so many PP's needs to realize that they got 3 PP's the entire game. Every call they got right IMO. Lets not take any credit away from Tim Thomas (who made 3 breakaway saves) or Chara for his defensive play. Good game nonetheless!

The thing that stands out the most IMO is our overall team speed/sluggish play. I think as fans we are going to have to be patient this season. The following players will be UFA's at the end of this season: Lidstrom Holmstrom Maltby Bertuzzi Williams Lebda Lilja The following player will have his NTC removed at the end of this season: Brad Stuart With all that said, Lidstrom is the only guy we should definitely resign. In theory, we could be looking at the following lineup next season... Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Cleary Franzen, Filppula, FA not named Todd Bertuzzi Leino, Helm, FA not named Jason Williams Abdelkader, Draper, Eaves Lidstrom, Rafalski Kronwall, Someone not named Brad Stuart Ericsson, FA not named Brett Lebda Osgood Howard In conclusion: I can not wait for the off season

If Hossa and Leino return and we part ways with Sammy and Hudler, I'd like to see something like this: Datsyuk Zetterberg Cleary Franzen Filppula Hossa Leino Helm (Free Agent)* Abdelkader Draper Holmstrom Maltby Lidstrom Rafalski Stuart Kronwall Lilja Ericsson Lebda Osgood Howard *someone who brings grit, toughness, and will play hard every single game Some notes: 1. After next season, the UFA's are Holmstrom, Maltby, Lidstrom, and Lebda. 2. Rafalski and Stuart are the two most overpayed players on the team IMO. It's too bad they both have a NTC. However, Stuart's NTC is only in effect until the end of next season. I really hope we move him... 3. In one year, we could be a much faster team than this previous season. 4. I'm very excited for the future of this team.

it's weird how Hossa affects this team... if he stays, he'll most likely be on the 2nd line with Filppula as center if he departs, Dats and Z would most likely split up and Filp would be our 3rd line center The best part about this team is the depth at center and defensive abilities/scoring abilities/speed at that position. Dats and Z and Filp and Helm OH MY! PS: Back to Stuart, IMO he's been the new Robert Lang: the player who causes me to curse the most at the tv.

I can live with Rafalski's contract because of his offensive skills. I guess I would have like to see Rafalski play a little better in the playoffs... Stuart on the other hand...I've never been a big fan. Since I live in Mass, I saw him play in Boston and believe me, he has not changed. Just way too many turnovers in the D-Zone... Other than Stuart and Holmstrom, I'm very excited for the upcoming season!

When Filp scored his goal last night, I remember saying to myself that Datsyuk just extended his point scoring streak to 9 games and also gave my fantasy hockey team another assist for this week's semi final match up. However this morning, I looked at both the yahoo and espn box scores and noticed they gave Franzen an assist along with Lidstrom. The faceoff was won by Datsyuk, straight back to Lidstrom who fired a shot that deflected off a defenders leg and went right to Filp for the goal. So Lidstrom and Dats should have been credited with the assists. I'm not upset at all because they got the win but it would have been nice for Datsyuk to be credited for what he earned.
