  1. So I was wondering if anyone knew the best place online to get these player shirts? I think the NHL.com store had zetterberg and datsyuk. But I was looking for other options and hopefully someone else.
  2. GDT

Wow, great to get the 2 points out of that one. Felt like they were a bit disjointed at times. Could really see the pressure they were putting on in the end of the 3rd and in OT. Alfredsson had a few nice chances so that is a positive. I think he and Weiss will take atleast a dozen games to really get in the groove of playing with a new team and new system. A goal for Weiss should help his confidence going forward at least.
  3. Wow, thanks for all the responses. I am pretty sure I will use SportsK. Does anyone have experience with IceJerseys.com? They also use sewn on numbers and lettering and they would be about $2.50 cheaper since SportsK charges shipping. Very happy that these places do the custom sewn on numbers on the Premiers. As far as what player, well, I think you guys talked me out of Nyquist. May be a little premature if I want to make sure the jersey has a long life.
  4. Fellow Wings fans, I need your advice. First and foremost, recommendations on where to buy the jersey? I do not live anywhere near Michigan, so, online retailers only. NHL.com seems to be a major rip off. The two places I have found are IceJersey.com and SportsK.com. Any others? Secondly, because this will most likely be the only jersey I intend on purchasing for quite some time, I am looking for a player that will be around for awhile. I have eliminated Datsyuk as it seems he only has 3 years max left in Detroit. To be honest, I am really looking at either Zetterberg or Nyquist. Z has 5 years left on his contract so I would say that is a pretty solid life for a jersey. Nyquist is a bit riskier just because he hasn't really played as much. Though I think we all liked what we saw from him towards the end of the year. I know its personal opinion really, but I wanted fellow Wing's fans thoughts on the subject matter. To all signs point to Nyquist being a long time Red Wing?
  5. Stumbled upon this yesterday looking for a Wings sweater on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GUSTAV-NYQUIST-2014-WINTER-CLASSIC-DETROIT-RED-WINGS-RBK-PREMIER-JERSEY-/360689299961?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&var=&hash=item53fac1f1f9 Seem's a bit high in price for some reason.
  6. He has already warranted a camp invite! http://swehockey.se/Startsidesnyheter/2013/Juni2013/TreKronorsamlasforenOS-traffden12-14augustiiStockholm/
  7. What is this you are talking about? If two RFA's file for arbitration it then would help the Wings buy out Samuelsson?
  8. As much as I have been a Ryan fan since he came into the league, I don't think there is any chance that is is true. I remember reading shortly after the Anaheim series that Holland and Co. were thoroughly unimpressed with Ryan's compete level during the series. No way would they trade those assets for him, especially Tatar. Edit: punctuation
  9. The NBA finals started June 6th. Game 1 of the SC Finals started the 12th. The NBA is typically later into June that the NHL, but the lockout pushed things back this year by a couple weeks.
  10. You have no idea... but thrilled the Pens got dominated!
  11. Gah, I think when the series was that close for the Wings it makes this loss even worse. Even if they "shouldn't" have gotten this far. To watch it slip from your grasp sucks. Very bummed right now, especially after a deflection goal like that. The one thing I don't want to hear tomorrow is how the Blackhawks deserved to win because of the penalty at the end of the game. All in all, can't wait for next season!
  12. That was no dream. You were just watching the highlights from game 7 of the leafs and bruins.
  13. I voted for Datsyuk and Tavares, yikes, I obviously don't know anything!
  14. gdt

Looked like a typical Red Wings game where the controlled the shot chart, but lost in OT! Could have gone either way. Credit to the Wings for keeping the pressure up during the end of the overtime period. Most of all, thank you Brunner for sending me to bed before midnight!!
  15. As much as I think the Wings have a better chance against the Ducks, can't say I am happy losing 8:00 start times.
