Wasn't it last year when Chicago- after winning 9 games in a row- said something like they were the Patriots of hockey and something along the lines of they are better than the Wings or something. If I remember correctly they said this the day before the Winter Classic where we had a back to back with them, and the Wings proceeded to beat them in both games. I could be wrong though but I thought so?

This just in, on PTI, both Wilbon and the other guy (forgot the name) predicted the Pens to win game 7, that should increase the Wings chances by what? 10... 20%?

Do people really feel this confident about the Wings winning, or is that just how they WANT to feel? I wish I could be this confident, but I'm a nervous wreck. EDIT: But after reading this thread, it always makes me feel that much better... so thank you

I don't see why people keep saying we played absolutley horrible today, I mean really, yes Ozzie kept us in, it's not like we didn' thave our chances. The post, the break away, and its not like Fluery didn't help keep the Pens in either. The Pens were backed up to the wall, we weren't. The crowed was on their side, not ours. They didn't take stupid penalties, they will (if they get down early). With all of that working against us, we still were just one shot away from tying it up, heck just a few inches left, or a couple centimeters low from it going into overtime, now, we know what we need to do to win. We saw their best, but they haven't seen our best. That was good eh? Made myself feel a ton better

I wanna say about 70%. I'm usually not too optimistic so take it for what its worth, but keep in mind, this Pens team has not won the cup yet, whereas the wings just did last year. God I hope Wings win

Funny story, same thing happened to me. At first I was really pissed, and now I'm kinda confident, which I never am, I think its because Datsyuk will be back I have more faith, but usually after a loss I act like the sky is falling. This calmness is making me even more worried now.

Not to diminish his sweet pass today, but was it just me, or did Hossa point it out? I mean, I'm not sure if Hossa was just raising his stick to call for the pass, but it looked to me as he was skating, he was pointing his stick towards Samulesson as if to say "look he's open". If someone recorded and wants to just see if I'm crazy or not, please do. Just trying to give credit where it's due
