Think about it, he was asked about the play from a member of the media and he responded with what he saw. That is where quotes come from people. The coach just doesnt sit up there and run his mouth with an account of the game. Was he crying over and over about it, No. Get over it. It was a break in your favor, plain and simple. That is they way it goes sometimes. The majority of Predator fans are letting it go for what it is. A close call, that should of been whistled dead but wasn't. We had plenty of time and opportunity to tie it up after that. Dom made a couple great saves. On to game two. Go Preds

That is funny Although we as Preds fans do know that he continues to take a liking to Nashville and wants us to succeed as a franchise (first and foremost because it was he who granted the expansion and that will be his legacy) but there is no way it translates to help on the ice. I see this comment alot on all hockey boards, especially the canadien team sites. I do find i comical every time. Every teams fans think they get a raw deal from officiating/calls etc and we all do. We definitely feel we get the short end of the stick as a whole when it comes to the breaks so to speak. We were lucky enough to get a few the last games of the season and I can see where that can translate to thinking we are the chosen son. Heck, re-watch the last two years against SJ and the lack of favortism is freaking obvious. Anyway, I know that is putting words in your mouth and that wasn't what I was after. I have been wanting to post about this for awhile.

Hlavic has been playing extremely well the last 10 games or so. IMO one of the best pickups on the trade deadline. He has moved up to the first line with the injury to Legwand and the line shuffling that came because of that. He is now playing with Arnott and Dumont and has had 10 points in the last 6 games. He has been everywhere on the ice. He can kill penalties as well. I am not sure what line you are referring to from the past. But he did play with Erat on the Czech teams and they were a force together then. He started with us playing on Erats line and they showed good chemistry as well. So he can play well on his line or currently on the top line. I would like to see Trotz move him back with Erat and move Radulov back up with Arnott and Dumont.

Greg deVries, Arnott and Gelinas have all won cups. Of course Gelinas is gone for the year. The majority of the team has been in the playoffs with the Preds the last two years with the debacles against the effing sharks. If Nashville can stay out of the box then I believe we have a chance to pull the upset. We have outscored you guys even strength when playing against the Wings this season, but you have killed us when on the PP. As always the goaltending will be a huge factor. Will Hasek be lights out? Will Ellis get rattled? Will we continue to yank our goalies because of weak goals? The thing that we love about the Predators this year is the never say quit attitude and hustle. No matter what the score, the guys play hard and fight back. We feel we are never out of a game regardless because of this. The Predators have to overcome the "the deer in the headlights" reaction that seems to crop up when in the playoffs. Our powerplay sucks and I expect that to continue against you guys for the series. We cringe when we get a PP, more often than not as fans we would like to decline the penalty lol. Here's to a great series regardless. Go Predators.

Cool and Thanks. My girlfriend and I were trying to make sure since I have to get plane tickets. I would hate to buy them for Thursday and then the game ending up being on Wednesday. My first trip to the Joe will be games 1 & 2 and we are looking forward to it, I just hope we don't get beer poured on us We are pretty excited to see a game there and with it being the playoffs it is that much better.

Is this official everyone? I know the league has not scheduled the playoffs out and won't announce it until the season is officially done. Here is to a hard fought series! I just saw on the Joe Louis Arena sight that it is listing games on Weds and Friday. Hmmm....

Yeah, the top 10 was lame at best. I personally am one of the non-chanting Predator fans and the fang-fingers embarass me to no end. Either way though, I will have to give it to Sec 303 for bringing the noise every game. Overall it is what it is, we needed gimicks and such to gain new fans at the start of the franchise and are still growing the fan base, so if all of this above helps in that matter, I can deal with it. Looking forward to tomorrow. Is it just me, or does everyone hate waiting for the next game day? Just get here already please. May the best team win. Can't wait.

I agree with you 100% And it doesn't hurt playing against you 5 more times this year. This will have both teams ready going into playoffs and I think it is a better thing to fight your way in, trying to win the division, instead of resting and losing your focus. We as hockey fans know, that your focus, continuity and effort are what makes a winning team. And of course a hot goal tender lol. Anyways, you guys don't like us and we not you. Been your whipping boys most of our existence, If we are to go deep in the playoffs, I definately want to earn it through the winged wheel. Here is too a tough fight for the division, and maybe we can meet in the conf. finals, if a 6-7 seed can win a round. Either way, there are four great teams to watch in the west this year come playoff time, should make for some historic series on paper.
