I know what a no trade clause is but what the Blues did when they signed him was allowed him to make the final dicesion on whether he wants to be traded. Yes he can quickly re-sign but meh.

I heard that Guiren wanted to stay in STL because of family and what not and doesn't he have a contract that lets him decided if he wants to get traded.

After Hask and Osgood retire or die, which ever comes first, Detroit needs to find a decent, hard working first sting goaltender to mind the nets. Now McDonald is a ok goal but he won't be a first string tender but hey that’s what I think. So who you do think the wings should get???

Laraque would be a great police man but the pens are also trying to get him but Billy G, I think, would give us that extra offence in the playoffs. That old vet would step it up in the playoffs or the wings should make some crazy deal with the struggling habs for sheldon souray.

T-ruff are you kidding offensive talent and McGratton do not go togeather that is like saying Lilja is a good player that the wings need to keep. Wrong the pens do need a cop but not McGratton there are talks of laroque or todd fedork going to pitt at least those two can put the puck in the net. Fedork scored his 3rd goal this season and last time I checked McGratton had 2 assists in 40 games not good at all. Tough loss last night but every blue moon the worst team in the NHL beats one of the NHLs elites.

This is so stupid becuase emery should have either fought maxim or have been givin a higher supension. 3 games does not set an example but 6 or 9 games would be more appropriate. If any player on ottawa had done the exact same slash then they would have gotton maybe 4 minutes or a game misconduct.
