There is no C on that line if you do that. I don't think Sheahan is truly capable of being a bonafide 2nd line center in the playoffs either. Not yet anyway.
I don't mind tatar on the third, but I'd prefer nyquist down there. They both thrive off lesser competition, Gus more so then Tatar.

Anyone think the team's struggles as of late (alot on defence) have to do with Babcock making a decision to leave next year?
Maybe word has gotten around the locker room that hes gone?
Doesn't seem like much of a stretch since this could probably be the time where he let his decision slip out.
For the team to do a full 180 with brutal turnovers and bad decisions could be a direct relation to not playing as well for a coach you know won't be your boss next year

I think the difference with this team and the other teams we had with terrible stretches is that we just arent that good.
We stole points with heroics probably 7 times in the first 30 games. That was clutch as ever, but it has to be mentioned.
The cup winning teams had the best roster in the NHL and we knew it. Everyone else knew it. Do you really see a cup contending team when you watch us play?

Pretty huge news that Mrazek is starting tomorrow on a back to back.
That instantly shows how Babs is feeling about Howard. When babs changes a lineup even with his thick skull, you know something is serious
