I agree. Bert's suspension appropriate, but if someone was speared like that on the ice it would be all over the media and guaranteed suspension. I really dont get why its not being discussed more.

I cant wait for yzerman to come in and inherit a s*** team instead of one with Stamkos and Hedman and St Louis and then the fanbase to turn on him with the team inevitably doesn't win a cup in the next 5 years. -

He's also been actively coaching for more than 20 years, which will pad that win column a fair bit. There is no reason whatsoever a team consisting of that roster over in Chicago should miss the playoffs under any situation. I think Quennville is a product of his environment moreso than he is a contributor. I said he was overrated 5 years ago and I maintain that today. -
Lidstrom is such an anomaly. Only defensman on that list and in the top 3.
