Yeah the only place I know of is yahoo sports, and they never show wings games. Damn college gives us about 15 foreign channels, but no verses or cbc.

Well the point of the thread is to make a prediction on how well the wings will do. Nobody has seen them play in the post season yet. I personally think there is at least one better team out there than the wings that is also more hungry that us that will take the cup home this year. But I'm still hoping for the best, don't worry

He'll be fine. In the two games hes been in since his hiatus, hes hit countless amounts of posts. It just a matter of time before "it" clicks and they all start going in. Besides, everyone was playing like they just got back from season long injuries these past couple games

Lang needs to go. There was much more expected of him than what he gave us this year, and the greatest benefit we could get for him now (aside from a complete 180 in April) is the extra salary cap space. I would love to see Dom come back for another year as well as Howard. I think Jimmy has alot of potential, but hes nowhere where he needs to be to be a solid #1 goalie right now. He can learn alot by playing under Hasek and even Osgood, although I think it would be best for Jimmy's future if he plays a number 2 goalie, and not number 3. More experience. I think Schneider should stay another year, but not for what we're paying him now. He is definitely solid in d, as well as experienced, but he has a nasty history of pinching, and taking the shot when imo he should pass. With that said, I still think hes a better choice defensively then bringing up a prospect to take his place. As much as it pains me to say it, Maltby needs to go. His main job on this team has become nothing more than an agitator, and he hasn't been as efficient as it as he could be. If i recall, I believe Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Holmstrom have created more powerplays than he has, although I could be wrong. Anyway, at this point in his career and the Red Wings situation, he's dead weight. Datsyuk should definitely return, although his future salary should be based on how he performs in the playoffs. If he doesn't end his bad postseason streak, I personally wouldn't pay him what hes asking for. And Bertuzzi really needs to come back next season. He has a lot that the wings have needed for years.

I was always impressed with this one. He's still a young guy and hes holding his own against Maguire pretty well.

I didn't see this, but I really hope he stays in the NHL. Those games against Nashville were very exciting for a large part because of him stirring crap up. I'm not for headhunting, but I certainly support his ability to get under players' skins and create a good, physical game, and possibly in Detroit's case, the baby steps to a rivalry.

I think Bertuzzi is going to explode in the playoffs. He's hit like 4 posts already in the two games that hes played after months of sitting out.

There have been 90+ people total injured just in March of this year, compared to 16 fight related injuries over the whole season. I really think there are other problems that need solving before they decide to ban fighting.

I dont think you guys are getting what I'm saying. If we can logically deduct that the puck is in the net despite not directly seeing it, then "inconclusive" doesn't exist. They changed that rule this year so logically assumed goals should be counted as a goal, which is what Cleary's shot was- a shot we can logically deduct to be a goal. This is an actual nhl rule. Inconclusive isn't (atleast not in this case)

We've had our team wearing down the opponent in the past and still lost in in the playoffs. Against Anaheim a couple years ago we had i think 60-70 shots on net and the 2 overtimes were like powerplays for detroit. The problem is our goalie gets no work on the other end and gets rusty.
