Well, if being a Wings fan gets you down, just think that the Pistons are looking to complete a "No Win November" tonight. Their last win back in October was against the Chicago Bulls. A loss to the Knicks tonight would be their 16th straight, breaking their single season record they set ... last night against the Lakers. LGW!

Day 2 of the NHL Global Series Sweden! LGRW! My recommendations: Let's start our scoring before they have three goals (or preferably before they have any), and stay out of the penalty box, especially late in the game. -

NHL Global Series Sweden starts TODAY! LGRW! -
I'm assuming the same line-up. Maybe Reimer in net? Larkin stays hot with another multipoint game. Debrincat scores and it's not joever because Veleno strikes again!

Ok, this is the game we have been waiting for. This is the real test of our teams identity. Both are sitting at 3-1. Is it going to be a bloodbath of fighting and Ottawa becomes the new Colorado? Could this be a tone setting game for the season? Will someone put Tkachuk's face through the boards?

Tonight its Larkins five hundredth game in a Red Wings uniform. Time flies and we are all gonna die soon. Red Wings 4-1

I hope those dark seat covers are washed and ready because its opening night at Little Ceasars Arena™ and Red Wings fans everywhere is ready for heartbreak! HYPE! I also dub this the: HOLY s*** LGW.COM IS NOT DOWN EDITION!

Well, this got ugly quickly.

Wings won their last game against the Stars with Vrana scoring 4 goals and the rest of the Wings tacking on 3 more for a full touchdown with extra point. Tonight is the last of a four game stretch against the Stars and the Wings look to even it up.

Well, running a bit late. Just sat down to enjoy the game and I see we're already down 2-0 late in the 1st period. Wings ... amiright? And now we're down 3-0. Defense looking horrible to non-existent.

Wings lead 2-0 early in the 3rd. Who'da thunk it?

Rasmussen on the Taxi Squad, seems like Svechnikov still in, will post lines when available. I'm reading Brome, Rasmussen are up and Nielsen are down, 4th line of Brome - Rasmussen - Svechnikov? LGW!!
-
Let's make it 3 in a row, hoping to see more from Svechnikov tonight. LGW!

My normal sources for lines haven't been updated since Tuesday, so i'll post up closer to game time. Now they are saying they have "no idea" how long Bertuzzi will remain out and is currently week to week. He had a shaky start to the season and this is a lot more down time, I expect when he returns he will need a handful to shake off the rust, maybe the top line can be reunited and the scoring will be better than 0 to 2 goals per game. I'll be here and watching, haven't missed a game this season but it's not getting much easier to sit through. In it for the long haul though, LGW! Also I noticed I have the option to "feature topic" and I have no idea what it's going to do so i'm going to pin and feature this bad boy. UPDATE lines a bit shuffled tonight Fabbri - Larkin - Mantha Ryan - Namestnikov - Zadina Erne - Glendening - Helm Brome - Filppula - Gagner DeKeyser - Hronek Staal - Merrill Djoos - Nemeth Bernier/Greiss (unconfirmed)

Seems like the same lines as last night, let's come out better than 7-2 to say the least. RIP Sergei Tchekmarev LGW!
