Community Status Updates

Question for my fellow gamers: I've never played any games in the Deus Ex series. I know that Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the 3rd game in the series, but a prequel. Would it still be bad to jump into that without having played the other two games?

FINALLY. 100% completion on Dragon Age 2. Excuse me while I eject this disc and collapse into bed for a while. Damn 'Supplier' trophy...

Watching last week's Thundercats right now and holy crap, what a fantastic callback to the original series...or, more specifically, the profane bloopers that circulated online from the original series.

If a phone is ringing in an office and the office you are in is, in fact, your office, does it not make sense to answer said phone and not just let it ring off and on for 15 minutes? Or is it just me?

I was trying to nap in my car when the earthquake hit, but had no idea. I actually thought it was just construction going on nearby that was causing my car to slowly rock from side to side. I think it actually rocked me to sleep, in fact.

One of my absolute biggest pet peeves? Jumbled messes of a/v cables.
Come on, if I loan you a nicely coiled pair of 50ft speaker cables, I kind of expect to get them back in a similar condition, not in a tangled heap.
