Hi everyone, wings fan from Ottawa here. Hoping to make the trip to see the team play in the new arena - wondering if they still do the Sweet Caroline and Dont Stop Believing like they did at the Joe? thanks.

Not sure if this will work, but hoping it does. Good evening all, I just went to my first ever Wings game on friday night. First of all, I was blown away. I'm a huge sports fan in general, I live in Portland Oregon and am in the coast guard. While my old roommate and I were living in Seattle in 2014, he got me hooked on watching Wings games (He's from Detroit) We made a pact in 2014 that he'd get me to The Joe during the final year, and let me tell ya I was impressed! As a huge sports fan (and new hockey fan), I couldn't believe the atmosphere, the fans, the banners, not to mention seeing Dylan Larkin get in a fight. every sporting venue I go to, I try to bring back a program from the game. It's kind of something my Dad always did, and I remember reading through all of his old sports programs and old sports illustrated when I was growing up. I had 2 programs from the game on friday night, and they were left at the arena. If there is ANY POSSIBLE way someone on this thread may have snagged a couple or have an extra, I would be more than happy to send some shipping/handling to cover the cost. I'll leave you with this, When I went to go to my section to get to my seat, I asked the lady working if I was in the right place and went to show her my ticket, and all she said to me was "Of course you are honey, you're in the Joe Lewis Arena" Go Wings!

Is it making it better or worse? · DON'T post duplicate topics. Before posting your new thread be sure to check the first two pages of the forum to make sure the topic isn't already being discussed. Multiple violations of this rule by a single member is punishable by temporary suspension from the forums. · DON'T post false and/or misleading topics. Members caught doing so will be banned IMMEDIATELY with NO chance of reinstatement. The punishment may seem severe but if people start posting fake trade threads, the forum becomes total chaos. LGW should be a resource for solid hockey talk and information. · DO refrain from using vulgar language. There is a curse/bad word filter currently on the forum and members that purposely attempt to circumvent this filter will be subject to a suspension of account privileges. No alternate spellings. Please remember, if you volunteer to create a GDT, and for some reason you're unable to make it, please contact MabusIncarnate via PM ASAP. Mabus has agreed to be the designated backup in case someone can't post the thread. Don't abuse his generosity in this matter, though. And let's be fair here. I'm going to suggest that no member have more than a few games "reserved" at a time. If that turns out to be too many or too few to be feasible, of course it can be modified.
