Sounds like that teammate thinks she is a know-it-all and is jealous of you performing well! Boo to those people!

Bad mood-
-Players in any sport who hold out, strike, or otherwise cause labor issues while under contract. (Read: Javon Walker, Alexei Yashin, the NHLPA)

EDIT-I couldn't help but notice that The Captain puts whitneydatsyukrox in a bad mood....

Are you suggesting I'm a druggie? Because I enjoy the occasional toke on the thai sticks?

Bad Mood:

- Any words coming out of Bush's mouth wink.gif
- Paying my car payment
- People who insist on slowing almost to a stop WAY before they slowly start to move into the turn lane, then continue to ride halfway in the regular lane and halfway in the turn lane, forcing everyone behind them to stop and wait for them.
- On some days, my alarm clock
- Gas prices
- People being fake nice to me
- Young punks being given cars nicer than I'll ever be able to afford then whining because they wanted one even better
- Most Rap and Country music
- Most drunk people
- My daughter when she is in "mouthy-teen-mode"

Good Mood:

- The work day ending
- Puppies, kittens, or babies (as long as they aren't crying)
- Spending quality time with friends/family
- Weekends
- Good weather
- Hockey
- Writing
- Spring
- Most Rock music (classic, metal, punk, and even some alternative...)
- Driving my new car (every day except for the day that I mail in the payment)
- Barbeques
- Lasagna
- My daughter when she isn't in "mouthy-teen-mode"

As the reasons for the carnage cut their meat and lick the gravy
We oil the jaws of the war machine and feed it with our babies.

I don't know if you have the right to correct people's spelling errors if you follow up the correction with "word".

Why? He spelled it correctly.

You're not perfect either, so why should you "correct" his use of the word "word?"

Maybe when Cruiser said "conceded" the reference was to someone who gives up a.k.a. concedes? A stuck up person who is a quitter?

Ah well, it was worth a try!

Silly banter puts me in a good mood, too. smile.gif

Correcting peoples' grammar and spelling is my chosen career path (if only I could get hired)

when your boss calls you at home on your day off to tell you about a mistake you made the previous day instead of waiting to tell you about it the next day you're in sad.gif

How about when you have to call work to explain you accidentally brought home the two-wy nextel used to contact the shuttle van and your next scheduled day isn't until two days later?

that's different. you're the one calling in to work.. and even if they call you about that... that's something they need right away.

How about when your boss hates you so much that she throws a work party for you (and the other 2 graduates) and then invites everybody but you?

Or what if the boss signs the card going around for the other students "Congratulations and best of luck to you, Amy" and then just signs your card "Amy"?

I heart my boss.
And I wonder
If everything could ever feel this real forever
If anything could ever be this good again

mad.gif Jesus... I had that happen one time. A Thursday I left work early, went home and was leaving the house, a guy ran me over. I was in the hospital for like 12 hours and then was sent home. I was laying in bed, could barely move and the dumb biatch boss calls and asks if I know where a fricken part is for a customer....
