Yup. I thought ROTJ sucked (relatively speaking, of course). Ewoks, weak-ass Stormtroopers, a second Death Star. I mean, c'mon George Lucas...you're more creative than that. He could have really found a better way to end the saga...it was a real let-down after The Empire Strikes Back.

ROTJ was a good film.
The Second Death Star thing starts out a little iffy, but you have to consider it this way;
The Empire has this giant weapon that will grant them conquest across the galaxy. The first one they built had a design flaw that caused its destruction after only one use. They aren't going to fix the design and then build a new one?
The Ewoks are more or less what Lucas originally envisioned for the Wookies. He wanted to get that original idea into the films.
And you have got to remember...there is quite a bit of film that is pre-Endor strike...Han Solo/Jabba The Hut/Boba Fett, Luke's Jedi Training
I thought it tied it up nicely. The only things that could be considered 'open ends' were things that were vaguely referred to and are/were addressed in the first three episodes.

There was a special on VHI on Star Wars, and even Harrison Ford said " and then to end this whole thing with a teddy bear picnic.."
I watched ROTJ for the first time in years the other night, and parts of it were really corny....The ewok battle in the forest with the storm troopers did it in for me

Just saw Revenge of the Sith tonight...and it fits in my list snuggly between Empire Strike Back and A New Hope.

I wasn't trying to be funny or unique. There was no logic to my post. I am not close minded just cause I don't like Star Wars Revenge of the Sith. I am not antagonistic either. I am not trying to stir s**t up with anybody, especially in this thread for the simple reason that so far, up until your post, I am extremely friendly with everybody that posted in this topic. So, they know that I am not trying to stir s**t up. This name calling of "BIATCH" is in itself not funny, not original tired and overused. You also used another tired unoriginal and overused phrase and that is "STFU". See, name calling such as "BIATCH" can get you banned. Telling me the "STFU" cause "I" personally, was telling my friends that I don't like Star Wars Revenge of the sith is a bit childish on your part. I am not going to resort to the name calling or telling you to "STFU". Now, as far as the stupid comment, I think that you need to spell "BIATCH" right, as well as "orignal" before we start talking about someone's intelligence. Other than that, have a wonderful day.

It looks like we basically all agree that The Phantom Menace ranks at number six. Even though I put it at six myself I still really like it and think it gets too much abuse.

I've got it in at 5... That's because I just did NOT like Attack of the Clones... I understand that he had to set up the love story, but when half the theater was falling asleep in the middle of the movie... It just dragged too much, IMHO.
