| Texas in June?!? Are you nuts??? I hope you don't plan on spending too much time outside. The weekend forecast calls for mostly cloudy with a high of 99 with 94% humidity. The heat index is expected to be about 103. |
I live in Texas every month of the year, June included!
And yes, I'm quite nuts!

That's right. Sad Simpsons Indian. I went there.

Then you need to come up to Michigan. We're expecting sunny skies, highs in the 70s (low 80s Sunday), and low humidity.
I'm putting my ski boat in the lake this weekend. A little late but it needed a new impeller. I plan on spending Saturday chewing up the slalom course and tipping back a few cold beers on the beach when I'm too tired to ski any more.

| Heading down to San Antonio after work today! Gonna spend some time there, and head up to Austin for some partying on 6th street! What's everybody else doing for the weekend? |
I love Austin, even there are a ton of dirty hippies there.
No big weekend plans as of now. I'll probably have some work to do Saturday then my hockey game on Sunday.

Gonna work out for like three hours tonight then go to the local pub.
Practice my golf game a little bit and probably check out a movie Saturday night.
Golfing and going out to lunch with the family on Sunday.

Had a LOT of fun!
Spent Friday night driving down, and had an interesting experience. In the 8-9 hours it took me to get to San Antonio I did the following...
Got pulled over for not having a front license plate on my car (got by with a warning)...
Got pulled over again for having a busted headlight (didn't even know until I was on the highway. Warning again)...
Killed a deer (Which scared the hell outta me, and made me feel really bad)...
And got pulled over AGAIN, for the busted headlight (Ran my name, no warning even written out)...
Saturday, we went to Austin and spent the day at Lake Travis, in a place called Devil's Cove, which is very much like Lake Havasu, in that all the boats string up together, and it's one massive party. Saturday night, we went into 6th street, and did some of the most intense bar hopping imaginable. Spent the night in Austin (rather than attempting to drive back to S.A. whilst intoxicated).
Sunday, headed back to San Antonio. We went downtown to the Alamo and the Riverwalk, ate dinner and watched Game 5 of the finals. (My condolances to all the Pistons fans. But since I was in San Antonio, I decided to cheer for the Spurs...) Crashed that night, and drove back up here all day today. No run-ins with the law or any animals!
*edit* Pictures are up here.
