Kronwall, MacDonald, Ellis, Bootland, and Kopecky were qualified.

Robinson, Groulx, and Ballantyne weren't qualified.

I'm surprised Kopecky got another shot and Robinson didn't. Neither had particularly good years but Robinson did have a burst at Syracuse to end the year. Mainly it's his speed that keeps me interested in him.

peace

I give up...they see something that I obviously don't. If they want to keep him around until he's like 33 yrs old to see if he'll develop like Lang, well I guess it's their money to waste.

I would have rather kept Robinson than Bootland...but I supposed Bootland does have some offensive potential.

Robinson probably didn't get retained because of his block-hands.

I like the resigning of Kopecky...he's had a difficult couple years with injuries, but he should get that righted and get back on track. He has one of the best size/skill combinations the Wings have had in the system for a long time.

I'm happy they kept Bootland and released Robinson. Although anything else would have been unacceptable. Robinson had speed, but he was up to no good.
