Hahahaha. No way the Wings can afford $4.56 million. I'd much rather have Osgood for $1.5 million and not have to give up anything.

Yeah right!Bringing Belfour in would put us at 31 or 32 million dollars with only 15 players signed.Not happening.

how could he rework it? I thought reconstructuring contracts wasn't allowed?

he has a high price tag and is old so it does fit to hollands likeing but, i dont even see him doing something this bad, and IMO our goalie should be legace next year.

Seriously, this would be the biggest waste Ken Holland could possibly do. Zets is a up and coming star, while Belak is a #6 Dman and Belfour MIGHT be able to play one more year.

Also, Eklund said Boston is interested. Why the hell is Boston interested in Belfour? Andrew Raycroft is going to be a star for many, many years to come and no team needs a $4.56 million backup. Heck, the $1.14 million for Legace to backup here is too much.

1.) Eklund has no credibility whatsoever.
2.) A 3 team deal between Toronto, Detroit, and Boston could go down. Thornton, Raycroft, Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Belfour are some of the names that could be involved I guess.
