Rangers pursuing Gratton

The Rangers have had ongoing discussions with free agent Chris Gratton directed at bringing him to Broadway, reports the New York Post.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound center is also supposedly drawing interest from the Toronto Maple Leafs, as well, but they appear to be zeroing in on signing Eric Lindros.

Gratton has played in 851 career NHL games, accumulated 174 goals and 296 assists for 470 points, and 1,351 penalty minutes.

He was originally drafted third-overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft.

"Some guys dream about scoring goals, or making big saves... I swear to God I dream about kicking ass in a hockey fight - no other way to say it than I love to do it, its who I am"... Brian McGrattan
