QUOTE (TNBT @ August 22, 2005 - 03:48AM)
I'm really conflicted here. On one hand, I hate the Maple Leafs as a rival, but I think I respect them so much that I actually like them. Know what I mean?

Don't be conflicted. How could anyone vote against the Leafs and call themselves a Wings fan.

A Wings vs. Leafs final would be happy madness!

f**king Calgary? The Sens? Please.........Who CARES?

I know exactly what you mean - but I am an old fart.

Without thinking about it, my first thought was the Oilers. I don't know, the fiesty underdog thing is kind of cool these days. However, you are 100% right - a Leafs - Wings final would be awesome.

I don't know what it is about the Oilers, but I've just always loved watching them on the late game on HNIC..Then when I got NHL Center Ice, I'd watch them whenever the wings aren't on- That arena is always electric and they're an exciting team to watch..

I've been a Flames fan for years.

Back when Edmonton dominated the NHL, the Flames were the only team that wasn't afraid to play them. They used to have some wars.

I'm a Wings fan first, but Calgary has always been my 2nd favorite NHL team...

Ottawa is my favourite Canadian team.
Montreal is alright.
HATE Toronto,Calgary and Vancouver.

I live in Northern Ontario and EVERYONE is Leaf fans here. It's fun to get on their case about it.Every year they think they're gonna win the cup,and of course it never happens and they have 1000 excuses why not.

I went with the Sens even though I don't like Hasek too much.

T.O. - I was a HNIC girl before going up to Central, I miss Don Cherry!
"Everyone knows everybody loves fights," Cherry said Saturday on "Hockey Night in Canada." "They better start listening to the people who are at the game and pay the money than the twits upstairs who get in for free."

Habs. You can't mess with 23 Stanley Cups
I remember the good old days when LGW was worth going to and not full of blind homers who freak out just because someone thinks that the Wings aren't perfect.

This is easy. My mom was born in Edmonton, so I grew up watching the Oilers (during the glory years). They were by far the most fun team I have ever watched (up until Detroit's last cup team).

I voted, but I'm not a fan of any of them. I only like one team in the NHL.
It's amazing how much clarity comes when you care more about the Red Wings than any individual player.

"They are the best team in the world. They are a team that can just take over when they want to," Chicago's Patrick Kane said (of the Detroit Red Wings).
