Just to let you guys know, Yahoo has opened up their Fantasy Hockey League sign-up, and the LGWFHL has been setup for this coming season...
League Vitals:
- 20 Team Max
- Head-to-Head
- Starters: C, C, LW, LW, RW, RW, D, D, D, D, G, G (4 bench, 1 IR)
- Draft is LIVE and scheduled for Sun Sep 25 6:00pm EDT.
Before there is availability to the general public, those GMs that had teams for the 2003-04 LGWFHL and would like to return to the league: please PM me! (Provide your Yahoo ID & your 03-04 team name, if possible.)
After returnees are sorted out, signup will be reserved (for a week) to CSs that would like to take part.
After that the remaining spots would like to take part this season.
If the response is strong enough there is also the option of having a 2nd league as well.

In a 2005 study published by the journal Nature, researchers at Durham University in England concluded that, across a range of sports, we found that wearing red is consistently associated with a higher probability of winning. The researchers also suggested that red's effect may subconsciously intimidate opponents in athletic contests, especially when the athletes are equal in skill and strength.

CS = Community Supporters = Members that have made a financial contribution to the site here.
Unfortunately, for those of you that are not returnees from last season or CSs, signup will have to wait a week or so until I can determine how many sites are remaining.

I'm interested in it...hopefully I won't miss the rush for the last 2-3 teams that open up after all the returnee and CS spots are filled.
