"During Robert Lang’s time in Detroit, he caused me anguish. Other times he brought me and my family great joy. Robert Lang occasionally coasts, and spends time searching for the best pane of glass to best view the reflection of his flowing mullet. Other times he is a strong-armed force with the puck. I never knew what to expect from Robert Lang. He is The Enigma. " - A2Y

In a 2005 study published by the journal Nature, researchers at Durham University in England concluded that, across a range of sports, we found that wearing red is consistently associated with a higher probability of winning. The researchers also suggested that red's effect may subconsciously intimidate opponents in athletic contests, especially when the athletes are equal in skill and strength.

Jesus christ, Eklund gets lucky a couple times and he puts this s**t out? Wow. Other than Roy hating Montreal with a passion, and Montreal having a excellent goalie in Theodore, what possible reason could either of the 2 have in wanting this?

Roy's already denied it.

He doesn't hate Montreal. He did actually show up at the Bell Centre after he retired for some ceremony before a game. He's busy running his junior team (Quebec Ramparts) right now.

Besides, it wouldn't be right unless Roy was back with the Avs. I can't hate him as much if he's wearing another jersey. tongue.gif

I don't think we have enough goalie controversy going, why not come here? We could send Ozzie down to GR, only to call him back up 4 days later because Patrick got arrested or something.

Can't wait to read the "Phoenix: I still think it's a hockey market" chapter of Gary Bettman's autobiography. I'm guessing it's going to be chapter 11.

He used to hate Montreal. He has said several times he would never play for them again. That was of course after his little run in with the wings, but I doubt he just let it go like that.
