What on earth is Homer holding in that bottom pic?

Love the one with him and the puppy. I've seen Nik's puppy photo, but that's it.

They say that in very hot weather one should drink hot tea since the warmer internal temperature makes the outer temp seem less hot. I'd say hot Swedes raise the internal temp much better than tea.

A baby alpaca. I'm not sure WHY, but the Wings posted it on their Twitter feed.

Since he had gone to visit an alpaca farm, one would assume that is why he is holding a baby alpaca. He's up near Traverse because the Cherry Festival starts tomorrow, and he is the Grand Marshall of the parade next weekend. So that's where he's vacationing.

Dawn and the girls are up there right now. I texted her and told her to keep her eyes peeled for Swedes toting loaded alpacas!!!

I didn't get to hang out in TC Saturday like we planned But we stopped there for breakfast and no sign of him. Would have been awesome if I ran into him at the dunes.

for those who don't facebook or whatever, Dawn (WizardofOz30) is in the hospital. She has an infection of a booboo on the back of her leg, and is one sick girlie. She has her mom bringing her laptop to the hospital this afternoon, so check in with her, OK? Love you all, hope your summer is going OK. Better than our poor Dawn's so far, but it can only get better from here! xoox

awww, thanks girls you are both so sweet! i'm doing ok on both fronts. Just hope they figure out what's going on with the leg and we can clear it up. I survived day 1 in lockup here. I can move around and do what I want but I'm pretty much confined to my room and the floor if I want to roam a little. I have plenty of homework to keep me busy tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to finish most of what I have left.

Vacationing with mom and sisters in the Black Hills.
Monday- we got here and did some hiking.
Tuesday- sightseeing
Wednesday- sightseeing and visiting some old friends
Thursday- baby sister had an emergency appendectomy (not on our itinerary)
Friday- going home

Deb is fine. She had laproscopic surgery, so she's a bit groggy, but came home about an hour after surgery. She had ridden out with Mom and Brenda, so she'll be going home with them tomorrow (Friday) and resting up there until Tuesday, when she'll return home to Illinois.

I was going to come here and post something but I have not been on here much lately. I forgot about Andreas' birthday on the 13th...well I didn't forget but I wanted to come spam the page with pictures of him. I was too excited about my release from prison (the hospital).
