I will wear my Dommie cap when he's inducted into the Hall of Fame, or perhaps to the banner raising ceremony when they retire his number in Buffalo? I expect that will be opening game next year, or whenever the NHL comes back, assuming they do? Sigh~
Thanks again, sweet sister, for my treat. I love and adore it, and the goalie, who I will miss forever. Hope he's doing OK and not driving his wife nuts, looking for something to occupy his time.

I got a phone call from my friend Jeannie yesterday (aka Winged Horse). She and her hubby are on vacation at Disney World. They're walking around there, and she sees a woman wearing a Scott Hartnell jersey. So what does she do? Calls Hartnell a douchebag right to the woman's face. Dale had to pull her away or there would have been a fight right in the middle of Disney World!
Jeannie, what the hell am I going to do with you???

Although I probably should admit that my brother and I seriously considered trying to start some trouble* with a guy in a Crosby jersey at Disney World in 2008. We eventually decided not to because it just didn't seem right to potentially devolve into trash-talking in front of the Mad Tea Party.
*Not serious trouble, just some mild gloating.

My priorities: 1-Hockey. 2-Sleep. 3-Food. 4-Everything Else.

I've missed you! Just finding a fellow hockey fan in this neck of the woods is hard enough amidst the sea of Vikings jerseys. I've made friends with Avs fans. Seriously. I razz them, of course, and they me, but still...
I flipped my Wings calendar to December today and saw that it was Pasha. I thought, "What a perfect Christmas present for Pat."
My money on the board pledge:

An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.
$5 for a SO by Jimmy.

Niklas Matthieu Daniel Robert

As far as meeting fans of other teams, I met some St. Louis fans in Niagara Falls, and we were civil to each other. We talked about Manny Legace, and how he and his wife were at the end of a marathon to raise money for breast cancer, and they were passing out pink roses. I told the people to be nice to him, and if they ran into him to let him know we still loved him back in Detroit. They were really nice! I also met an Ottawa fan at the HHOF, and we got along great. We both were slamming Toronto (like that wasn't easy).
