Wow.
If I say "hubba hubba!" will it automatically reveal that I'm too old to say "hubba hubba" about a man his age?
Oh, who cares. Hubba Hubba!

Hey, Lucy Lu used that line in "Payback"...and I've used it before on Pasha, so why the hell not?
And to think I have a great nephew the same age. That's scary.

Do I have to?

Imma let you finish, and your cap numbers are all good and all that, but imma let Kenny figure it out. Kenny's cap numbers were the best cap numbers this year.

My family was going to go to Duluth this summer, but we decided to postpone it since my sister Deb is potentially going out of the country.
So now Brenda and I are thinking of taking a trip. She's a Wings fan (sjbwing on LGW) and she turned me on to this site. We're thinking of either going to training camp or to Detroit for a game next season.
Is anyone else thinking of doing anything, either camp or a game? We'd love to hook up with any of you guys who are there or would like to plan to be there.

I definitely want to do camp. I figure Terry owes me this one, seeing that I gave it up last year and went to New Mexico with him. He owes me. So I can see that hapening.

I was going to ask you, Pat, since you've been there before-
How do you get tickets?
How hard is it to get tickets?
How much are tickets?
Any other advice?
We haven't really decided yet. I'm just gathering information.

1) Best way we get tickets is to go in person, but they do have online sales later on in the summer.
2) Not that hard, depending on how sold out the sessions are. The Red and White game sells out first.
3) Usually around $15-$25 per person depending on the event and whether you are willing to go with standing room tickets or you need handicapped seating.
4) IF you do decide to go, and you want a hotel room, book as soon as possible. Otherwise, go camping. The state park in TC is great - we stay there every year.
That's the best advice I can give you for that, but for anymore, try centreice.org

So I am in the doctor today, and the nurse says she needs to take my blood pressure. Okay, no problem. I close my eyes, and quietly think of my dear Pasha...just that. ![]()
Doctor looks at my BP and says, "Your blood pressure is perfect. It's beautiful." Well, duh, of course it is! My secret weapon to combat stress. ![]()

Hey, Pat! I got all the wonderful pics you sent me over the weekend! Love them all (it's Dom, you know). I was visiting friends in Florida - both of them Wings fans, and one of them as big a Dominik fan as I am.. perhaps worse than me! If that's possible? My friend Willie adores Dom, has a Hasek jersey from each NHL team he played on, plus his Olympic jersey.
I couldn't do much with the pics on my phone emails due to file size, but we looked at them. I am now going to email them all to him, so he has a Dom photo-hoard, too. He's excited. LOL~
Thank you for thinking of us, we really enjoyed the photo-bombing and Dom-ming... your timing was perfect. Willie says you rock! heehee~
We did get to a hockey game in Tampa Bay (Bolts and Bruins). The Little Stevies are very entertaining, and the arena/crowd are awesome... they love their hockey there, for sure. I assume the majority of fans are from the north - it is Florida, after all - and they're so thrilled to have quality hockey in their town, they're almost hysterical with happiness. The place was rockin', even on a Thursday night.
My favorite thing: the arena has a huge pipe organ that covers one whole end of the arena, and the biggest jumbo-tron I've ever seen in person. The national anthem is played on the organ, and the entire crowd sings the Star Spangled Banner together. It was awesome...a sold-out crowd, all singing -- gives me chills right now. I really enjoyed the game and the experience. No amateur, awful anthem singer American Idol wanna-be. Kristi would approve!
And yes, I did see Stevie Y up in the press area. ![]()

You made my housemate jealous, you know. She's such a Boston fanatic.
