Yeah, I miss him a lot. I was really hoping to see him play in the Olympics, but he got hurt before Thanksgiving, and isn't going to play for Czech Republic now. It's really hard when your favorite player leaves -- he was mine for 15 years, so that's a long time by anyone's standards.

I've met him a couple of times, just for a few minutes each time. I would have preferred to get to talk to him but they always were hustling him to a bus or to catch a plane, or whatever. Because of where I live, I didn't get many opportunities to see Dom in person. The last time I saw him was in Dallas in January, three years ago. I hollered at him in warmups, and he smiled at me.

Then he got me a shut out. Nice memories. I hope he knew a little bit, that I was there for him, through thick and thin. He was the best.

Jacklyn, my dear, welcome back to the land of the living! You must have been thinking good thoughts...your boy was on the cover of last night's program.

Got some great pics last night, I will hopefully be posting them on Facebook. Drew, Valtteri, Brad, Jonathan and others were very photogenic last night.

And yes, Jacklyn, that shootout goal from my baby was something else. I hadn't seen that move before, and I have to admit I laughed when it worked. It was a gem.

By the by, Jack (Southern Wings fan) found this cool site called zimbio. You type in the name of the player you are looking for and it comes up with pictures galore. It's got a passel of pictures of my sweet Pasha. Thanks Jack!
