This is crazy... we have a 2 day gap in games & I'm going thru withdrawls!!! So, I'll cheer for Sammy in the Canucks/Hawks game going on at 8:00. For those of you that I haven't roped into my facebook friends list, I got a job yesterday!!! & here's the beauty of it, I can wear jeans & Wings jersies or T's every day if I like! Wondering if I can convince them to let me put up a flat panel to just watch Wingspan & games all day while I'm there... hm...It's a thought.

Sammy's looking pretty good so far, and the VS guys just mentioned he scored big against LA.

I have a deep love for Sammy. Hossa grew on me during his time here and I wish him well personally, but I want Sammy to have a rip-roaring season to give a finger to Sweden for leaving him off of the Olympic team.
I don't want Vancouver to beat the Wings in the event that we meet in the next round, but if by some chance they make it to the final, I want Sammy to win it all.
I love him more than Hossa and Koko combined.

Sammy was always one of my favorites with the Wings, and then Hossa comes along and makes me fall in love with him. Everything would have been so much easier if we had just won the Cup last year. That way Sammy would have 2 and Hossa would have his.
I think part of the reason I love Hossa so much is not only is he sweet, attractive, and talented, but I just feel so bad for him. I want Sammy to do well, but he already has a Cup and Hossa needs one. In the event that we get knocked out, I want Hossa to win the cup. I know, I never thought I'd be rooting for Chicago.

How remiss of us all to forget to say a Happy Birthday last Saturday to Patrick Eaves! Yes, he and I share the same birthday, though I do have a few years on him! So happy happy belated, Patrick, and here's hoping you stay longer!
