I could NEVER give him a key to my house! Posted Image

My hotel room, maybe. Posted Image

(Not really. Probably.)

That's even better. If you weren't married I'd encourage you more but I'll stop here. :)

Thanks Offsides

Get him a card and tell him how much you've enjoyed his play over the years and thank him for bringing happiness to your life. Wish him the best for his life. Be sincere and he'll appreciate it.

Money on the board:  Current total: $6

$1 for a goal by any current Wing after whom I have named a hamster.  An additional $5 for a series-clinching goal scored by any current Wing after whom I have named a hamster. $5 if the other team fails to score against a current Wing goalie after whom I have named a hamster.

Hamsters I have had:  (current Wings highlighted)

Henrik Pavel Tomas Nicklas Dominik

Niklas Matthew Daniel Robert

Johan Andreas Valtteri Jonathan

Andrew Patrick Ian Todd

Jordin Damien Gustav James

or, you could do what I did the last time I saw Dom and just stand there, smiling at him. He seemed to like that.

Ideally, this is close to what I'd like to do.

Realistically, this is what I'm more likely to wind up doing. Babbling may also be involved.

I may look into this. :)

I gave one to Pasha a couple camps ago (and bless Brad McCrimmon's heart for being my delivery guy), and he liked it. So who knows?

Yikes. I can just picture getting snowed in at the airport! (Because I'm not lucky enough to be snowed in while I'm still at the hotel, if there happens to be a blizzard!)

Thank you. :)

So I went looking for news on Joey MacDonald and how he's doing with recovering from his concussion and discovered that (a) he's recovering nicely and could be back in the Griffins' lineup by Friday, (b) he has a new helmet with a cool picture of the Mackinac Bridge, and ( c) MLive has a picture of him in his new helmet doing that amazing intense goalie focus stare thing.

Allow me to indulge myself in a small Dom fest. I match your intense goalie glare with this one:

Posted Image

Wonder what is he thinking? We will never know...
Posted Image

This is the look Dom used to direct toward team mates who played the way the Wings did last night. "Don't make me come over there...."
Posted Image

Ok, for fun... 15-year old baby Dom, already a Crosby-level wunderkind:

Me, too. I know a lot of people here don't like Dom, which makes me kinda sad, but I find him endlessly fascinating, then and now.

Mmm, goalie glare...

Thinking about it, goalie glare has got to be a huge part of the reason I'm more likely to crush on a goalie than on any skater. You have this guy that looks perfectly sweet, but he can flip an intensity switch in his head and suddenly be giving a look like the ones we're seeing from Joey and Dom. And then I get all weak in the knees. Posted Image

Anyway, I had never seen Dom's goalie glare picture, either! Thank you for posting it.
