I gave one to Pasha a couple camps ago (and bless Brad McCrimmon's heart for being my delivery guy), and he liked it. So who knows?

My boss approved my vacation request for Feb. 1-7. I'll be in FL the 1st-3rd, leave for MA the morning of the 4th, then leave for home the morning of the 6th and have the 7th as a recovery day.

Yikes. I can just picture getting snowed in at the airport! (Because I'm not lucky enough to be snowed in while I'm still at the hotel, if there happens to be a blizzard!)

So I went looking for news on Joey MacDonald and how he's doing with recovering from his concussion and discovered that (a) he's recovering nicely and could be back in the Griffins' lineup by Friday, (b) he has a new helmet with a cool picture of the Mackinac Bridge, and ( c) MLive has a picture of him in his new helmet doing that amazing intense goalie focus stare thing.

Me, too. I know a lot of people here don't like Dom, which makes me kinda sad, but I find him endlessly fascinating, then and now.

Mmm, goalie glare...

Thinking about it, goalie glare has got to be a huge part of the reason I'm more likely to crush on a goalie than on any skater. You have this guy that looks perfectly sweet, but he can flip an intensity switch in his head and suddenly be giving a look like the ones we're seeing from Joey and Dom. And then I get all weak in the knees.

Anyway, I had never seen Dom's goalie glare picture, either! Thank you for posting it.
