Anyone get this one?
Not any huge differences but one thing that's nice is Practise in franchise mode.

Lot of NHL 2006ers here...I don't know if anyone actually plays 2k6. I'd play but hockey games are too easy, for me at least.

It's a Festivus miracle!!!

I've got 2k6 for XBOX.
I have a question. See, I put the line changes on the manual mode. I don't know how to control the line manually. Anyone know how?

I think you ahve to hold the left trigger and use the d- pad to change lines. I know for PS2 you have to hold down L1 and use D- pad.
I like the new goalie animations in 2k6. Other than that, it si very similar to 2k5, but there are tons of sliders to adjust the game to how you like it, so I really enjoy 2k6, although I enjoy 06 as well

You have to hold the trigger (I think the left one) while you use the arrow button. Push up and down for defense and side to side for offense (I think).
I was a little baffled by this at first as well but I'm digging the game now.
The thing I suck at is deking. I just can't get the hang of anything beyond the basic ones.
We shall say 'ni' to you again if you do not appease us!
