eva unit zero 271 Report post Posted November 5, 2006 Thought I'd throw a little revision on these with the new season, and add in some guys. Last year's ratings are in parenthesis. Franzen, Tolsa, Lebda, MacIntyre, and Kronwall have been removed as Franzen, Lebda and Kronwall completed a year in the NHL and Tolsa and Mac are no longer Wings prospects. Forwards: Igor Grigorenko (8.5B) 8.5C Jiri Hudler (8.0B) 8.0B Valtteri Filppula (7.5B) 8.0B Evan McGrath (8.0C) 8.0C Tomas Kopecky (7.5C) 7.5B Justin Abdelkader (7.5B) 7.5B Cory Emmerton (NR) 7.5C Jan Mursak (NR) 7.5C Johan Ryno (NR) 7.0C Matt Ellis (6.0B) 6.0C Darryl Bootland (6.0B) 6.0C Defensemen: Jakub Kindl (8.0B) 8.0B Kyle Quincey (7.5B) 7.5B Sergei Kolosov (NR) 7.0C Derek Meech (6.0B) 6.0C Goaltenders: Jimmy Howard (8.0B) 8.0B Stefan Liv (8.0C) 8.0C Joey Macdonald (7.0B) 7.0B

They never rated abdelkader so high, he's still a 6.0B right now. McGrath has also never been more than a 7.0C. They have archives from as long as 7-8 yrs ago so that you can track every players rating since then. (just as a clarification, are the ratings yours or HF's?) eva unit zero 271 Report post Posted November 7, 2007 (edited) Updated. Bootland, Liv, and MacDonald removed as they are no longer in the system. Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted November 7, 2007 I think most of them are right on, except for Pyett being a 6.5 C, I think he's much better then that. He's a top defenceman in the WHL and has been great in all the Major Junior Tournaments.
Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted November 7, 2007 Interesting read eva unit zero, but there’s a few who are too high IMO. McGrath should be about a 6 and I believe Helm is the better prospect. Quincey perhaps a little too high at 7.5, Ericsson too is maybe a tad high. Despite having some potential Kolosov faces a massive battle to make the NHL and should probably be around a 5.
